    The hotel was absolutely beautiful. The condition of everything was excellent as were the facilities Every member of staff was very alert polite and wanted to help. The restaurant was excellent too, the quality of the food combined with the friendly service made both breakfast & evening meals a real treat.

    HORRIBLE AND NOT RECOMMENDED

    I would like to share feedback regarding our recent stay at The Grones Hotel, where my family and I spent three nights. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing for several reasons: • Unprofessional Conduct: The hotel management and staff demonstrated rude and unwelcoming behavior throughout our stay. • Poor Guest Treatment: We observed a generally cheap and dismissive attitude in how guests were treated. This was especially evident when the hotel insisted on retrieving the reusable plastic room keys upon checkout in an unnecessarily strict manner. • Discriminatory Attitude: We felt that the staff’s behavior was marked by stereotyping and a lack of cultural sensitivity, which made us feel unwelcome. • Breakfast Experience: The breakfast offering was limited both in quantity and variety, and felt inadequate for a hotel of this category. • Rigid Dining Policies: Guests were not given the freedom to choose their seating during meals; instead, seating was pre-assigned, limiting comfort and flexibility. • Unresponsive Front Desk: Repeated attempts to reach the reception via phone were unsuccessful, indicating a lack of attentiveness to guest needs. Overall, this was a regrettable experience that did not reflect the value we paid for, and we hope that future guests are treated with greater respect and professionalism.

    Dear Mr. Abdulrahman, we are truly sorry to read that your stay at Hotel Grones did not meet your expectations. Please rest assured that your comments have been taken very seriously. From our side, we would like to assure you that we are committed every day to ensuring a pleasant stay for all our guests, and the same was true for you. Your reservation was for 6 people, but you arrived in 8: despite the late hour, at 11:30 p.m. we arranged extra beds in the requested rooms and did our best to meet all your needs. We would like to point out that you initially contested the charge for the additional guests, even though the conditions were clearly stated and communicated at check-in. In Italy, in almost all hotels, the rate is calculated per person — meaning the price varies according to the number of guests occupying the room. We are sorry if you felt a lack of warm hospitality. We have welcomed international guests for many years — many of whom are returning customers — and we have always considered respect for all nationalities and cultures, including among guests themselves, as one of our core values. Our experiences in this regard have always been very positive: guests often interact with one another, share moments, and in some cases, even form beautiful friendships. As for the key return policy, we inform all our guests that keys must be returned upon departure. This is a very common practice in our region’s hotels, partly with the aim of reducing environmental impact through reuse. Regarding the fixed table assignment in the dining room, this system is adopted to ensure comfort, order, and convenience for all guests, so they know where to sit each morning and evening and find their chosen menu and drinks ready. We understand that this arrangement may not suit everyone, and upon polite request, we always do our best to accommodate individual preferences and needs. Lastly, regarding your difficulty in contacting the reception: we strive to offer present and responsive service. That evening, reception was covered until 11:30 p.m. You came after midnight, at which time the desk was no longer staffed, and we regret that.     Hands down the best hotel experience I have ever had. Absolutely everything exceeded my expectations. From location, to Room, to friendly and efficient staff. And dinner/breakfast was just unbelievable.

    Everything was perfect. The location is amazing, views from the rooms are incredible, rooms were really good size, food at the property was delicious we ended up eating there most of the evenings. The staff is incredible and they really understand what true hospitality is. I hope to be back next year!

    The hotel was gorgeous. The breakfasts were amazing and such stunning views from the dining room and the balcony. The staff were really friendly and attentive. It was a great location for us to base ourselves for day hikes in the area.

    Lovely family-run hotel in a good location only a short walk from the centre of town. Nice-sized room with a good comfortable bed. Really delicious breakfast with lots of choice, and the set menu for dinner each night was also delicious - we hadn't booked half board but ended up eating each night at the hotel anyway as the food was so good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The sauna and swimming pool were also good.
