The setting is nice, location quite convenient if You have a car. The staff was helpful, rooms were clean and cleaned every day. The room was spacy. Many sunbeds to choose from.

    1. This place needs refurbishing, especially the bathrooms. 2. The AC is old and one night it was turning itself off. 3. The place was not as relaxing as we had hoped for - there were many families with children who were really loud in the pool area. Going to the pool was as relaxing as going to the playground.. This is not the fault of the place itself, but just not something we expected as many people described this place as quiet and relaxing - for us it wasn't. 4. For breakfast You had some things to choose from, but some were missing like any vegetables. Also sometimes something was finished already one hour before breakfast ends. There was almost no variety, everyday the same. And all the food should be protected from wasps, it wasn't (just some of it). 5. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but we feel it was too expensive for how the place looks like and what it offers.

The property has incredible views of the nearby hillside as well as the sea. It’s beautifully manicured with local plants.

The furniture was outdated and older.

Gorgeous grounds and quaint rooms. After a room upgrade I was able to be next to my family. Breakfast was an interesting spread. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Bees on food, beds old and hard, decor dated, doors didn't lock easily, single rooms are very small.

The hotel is in a very picturesque setting. On the occasions when we had the pool area to ourselves, it was really peaceful. The staff were all very friendly and the breakfast spread was extensive. Although the property is remote, with a car it’s easy to get around to local beaches. One night we also walked down to the nearby pizzeria and mini golf, which was a fun night out.

As other reviews have mentioned, there are lots of lovely, friendly cats on the property. However, it was disappointing to see that many of them were underweight and displaying signs of cat flu. It’s a shame to let the cats continue to breed if the kittens are not going to be well cared for.

Great location. Loved the pool. The room Was regular size. The restaurant on property was delicious. There’s a family of cats and kittens on property that my daughter enjoyed playing with. Complimentary breakfast every morning was great. The staff was always helpful and accommodating. Parking is easy, plentiful and free. We always felt safe. The front patio was a great spot to sit and enjoy the quiet. The AC was cold and the windows all had shutters with slats that you could open and let the air in as well.

The bed was horrible!! The most uncomfortable hard bed I’ve ever slept on. The shower was tiny and not in good shape. It didn’t drain well at all and the door was plastic and repaired with tape in places. During dinner one night at the on site restaurant, one of the cats hissed at the server when he got too close to it and he grabbed it by the neck and flung it over a fence in front of five tables. I was eating with my seven year old and she didn’t want to return to the restaurant again after that. It was a shame because it was really delicious and affordable.

Hotel, despite its age, very nice and neat, good breakfast, location away from the city so it is very quiet. Large rooms.

Very nice Hotel complex with spread out rooms and a central pool. Continental style breakfast and a restaurant at the top (bordering on michelin quality). Room was ok and comfy beds. Staff were very nice and couldn,t help you enough if you had a question or a problem. Would def return.

Sometimes the restaurant was shut at lunch and a sandwich or like would have kept us on site.

    - Lovely location in the hills above Scopello, and convenient if you are visiting there or the Zingaro nature reserve, as long as you have a car. - It was nice to have a patio area outside our room. This is shared with the neighbouring room, but it was spacious nonetheless - Very friendly staff - they really went out of their way to be helpful. - Nice pool, which our child appreciated! - Good to have a restaurant on site so we didn't have to drive anywhere

    - Beds very hard! - Decor is really quite dated and wasn't to our taste - Lack of mosquito netting on windows meant that we couldn't have the windows open, which would have been preferable for comfort and ventilation. However, there was aircon (which we didn't want to use) and we were supplied with a mosquito plug-in, which was appreciated

We had 2 weeks in Italy/Sicily and decided to spend 3 days at this hotel to recharge our batteries doing nothing before returning to the UK. We picked it based on reviews and was not disappointed. Staff so friendly and helpful. So much choice for choice for breakfast and very good quality. Cannot rate the restaurant as we did not eat there but speaking to others who had they said great. Room is huge though no tea/coffee making facilities. Lots of hot water, spotless and friendly cleaning staff. We had room 14, stunning views from our veranda. Luckily all other residents went out leaving us as sole users of the pool all day, fantastic. Great weather for May which helped. It's a bit of a distance from the sea but that didn't bother us as we had a car and didnt want to anyway. Probably in the top 3 hotels i've ever stayed in for value.

Nothing, perhaps tea/coffee making facilities in the room but no big deal.

We stayed one night during off season, but I can tell that it must be so beautiful when all the amenities are opened. Nicola is kind and made us feel comfortable. Oh, and there are cute cats all-around the property.

Perhaps a kettle in the room would have been nice.

Warm spacious room and delicious breakfast. Ample stress free parking. If the weather had been better we would have been able to enjoy the terrace and views, too.

It was the shame the restaurant wasent open , but of course it was off season so fair enough and we were warned (just hadn’t read the warning).

It is very quiet at night. Easy parking right next to our room. Restaurant on site. Beautiful garden with nice trees all around. Good breakfast with big variety of food. Staff friendly and kind.

The quadruple room had a queen size bed and a bunk bed. The top bunk bed didn’t have any protection/guard rail, which was fine for us because we have older kids but could be a problem for younger children.
