We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The location. I had meetings in the industrial area and the apartment was the nearest one I found. Price was relatively good. Apartment was spacious and the kitchen was adequately equipped. I arrived late (around midnight) and the instructing to retrieve the keys were easy to follow

New ZealandIt is close to the airport if you were taking a taxi. There wasn't Uber, Lyft, or Bolt, in this area so taxi was the only option (we don't speak Italian so opted not to go with this option) only other option is taking the train which you have to get on to go back toward the main centre of Bari, then get off the metro and on the airport train from the station "Crispi" to go all the way back out to the airport. Area felt a bit unsafe

Perfect location near the airport (10 minutes by car. 20 eur by taxi by day, 25eur by night). Very convenient and clean, but the bathroom was so old. We could park the car in the street easily and free.

ItalyWe didn’t enjoy the area, and the apartment felt very old. The bathroom clearly needs renovation, and both the bed and pillows were quite uncomfortable. We were also surprised to find no coffee machine, every other place we stayed offered at least a basic one with a couple of coffee pods included. Overall, it seems like the bare minimum was invested in updating the apartment. A simple Italian touch, like providing a coffee machine and offering one coffee per guest per day, would make a big difference and feel much more welcoming.
Very close to the airport, reasonably priced compared to others in the area, clean, and the host was very kind and welcoming.

Czech RepublicDear Booking.com staff, I've carefully read your statement regarding the arisen situation - that we couldn't get inside the apartment at Guest House Service - Express Airport Apartment (12 Via Pordenone, 70026 Modugno, Bari, Italy) on Oct. 26, 2023, of which I'd informed you immediately. The core of the problem is that we HAVE NOT RECIEVED the PIN code of the second keybox with the key to the apartment inside from the apartment contact person. Despite my attempts to get in touch with the contact person in 1 a.m., nobody answered the phone and therefore we were forced to spend the night on the stairs in front of the apartment. Which, you surely agree, was not the night we were expecting nor paying for. All of this has been reported via Czech Booking.com customer service on Thu, Oct. 26, 2023 afternoon. I accept your apology, however I'm missing any suggestion of resolving the arisen situation from your side. Personally I would take as fair to return the amonut I paid for the reservation nr. 4045882733 in full (1.916,46 CZK / EUR 76.50). Thank you for understanding and awaiting your response.
