Excellent stay we were spoilt by the owners with breakfast The guest house is super clean inside and outside and a very short walk to the sassi also free parking out front an added bonus to this property

Cleanliness and facilities were exceptional. Breakfast was amazing and totally unexpected. Hosts were so generous with their time and knowledge.

The start of our mornings began with the most amazing fresh produce food served for our breakfast. It was just pure and simple amazing! The location was more than perfect, the contemporary and modern premises were out of this world, the hosts (Antonella and Mario) were also so hospitable. This was not just a stay, it was an experience!

Best accommodation during our trip to Italy thus far. The owners are incredibly friendly and make you feel very welcome, the room was well-sized and comfortable, a short walk to the old town, extremely quiet and safe, and the breakfast with lots of homemade items was nothing short of spectacular. Matera is well worth the visit, such an incredible town and the owner explained all the important sites upon arrival.

Antonella and Mario were exceptional hosts at their beautiful property. The accommodations were excellent, modern, spotless and convenient. Breakfast was outstanding.... Antonella's cakes were so delicious!! Nothing was overlooked during our amazing few days in Matera! They made us feel like family! Thank you!

The hosts were amazing, the room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was exceptional and so unexpected. Hosts provided guests with unlimited bottled aqua, with a choice of still or sparkling.

Everything is perfect here! When we arrived, Antonella greeted us with a big smile :) Room was very clean and comfortable, breakfast was very freshly baked cakes, bread, cheese and hot drinks/juices. She is very kind and nice lady, she dropped us to the bus stop as we had a very early bus. She even packed breakfast for us on the final day. It felt like home :) highly recommend this place and we would love to visit again and stay here :)

Really enjoyed our stay at h-sa guest house. The large rooms were so comfortable and so clean. Our hosts were very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. Breakfast was a feast. Highly recommend.

Our hosts Antonella and Mario were excellent. Very warm, welcoming and accommodating. They were extremely receptive to our needs and were lovely to talk to. The breakfast was incredible too.

Just the fact that there isn't an iron. Just a minor concern but because we were going for a wedding, it was highly needed. It would be good for them to have one on hand. Everything else was perfect!

Our hosts at h-sa Guest House provided a comfortable and welcoming stay. The room size was generous and we loved our patio, and the hosts went above and beyond from giving us useful information, refreshing our room and providing access to coffee and water. The first morning we enjoyed a generous and delicious breakfast served at outdoor tables - they have inside tables as well. The 2nd morning we had to leave early and they packed us a big box with yummy focaccia and baked goods and even fruit and juice. We enjoyed our first visit to Matera and this property outside the Sassi provided the ease of parking directly in front and transporting our luggage inside with no problem. We had great weather and it was an easy downhill walk of about 10 minutes to explore the Sassi. We were thankful to be staying outside the Sassi when we saw people struggling the small alleys and steps with their luggage.

The walk back from the Sassi could be a problem in extreme temperatures or rain, but for us we had nice weather and it was good exercise which we needed after eating all the wonderful food!

We had a wonderful stay in Matera at h-sa, The facility is beautiful, the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hosts were extremely helpful with information and recommendations in Matera. And the breakfast was fantastic - freshly prepared food and home-baked pastries. Parking was readily available and the location is within a short walk of the old town of Matera. Highly recommend this place!

Fitted our requirements completely

Antonella is a warm and generous host. She is a wonderful cook- breakfast was possibly the best we've experienced. The rooms are spacious and comfortably modern. Quiet location. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at this accommodation! The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Everything was brand new and spotlessly clean, adding to the comfort of our visit. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, a great way to start the day. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the city center, which made exploring easy. Parking was easy and free; we parked on the street in front of the building without any issues. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a pleasant and convenient place to stay!

This was a stunning property and a highlight to our trip. The food was varied and fresh. Antonella was a lovely host.

Walking around the Sassi area is very tiring so it was a tad difficult walking up another hill to get to the band b. However once there you could relax outside in the shade

Stylish lodging with wonderful breakfast

Great accommodation; modern and clean rooms. Only a few minutes walking to the old city center. Parking available in front of the guesthouse. The hospitality of Antonella and her cakes for breakfast were outstanding. We would definitely stay here again.
