Helmet and his wife were very accommodating. They welcomed us warmly and let us drop off our packs before check-in. The room was very comfortable and immaculate. The breakfast was delicious with farm fresh eggs. We highly recommend Hanslerhof!

I sleep hot. And I had jet lag for sure. But despite the windows open with fresh mountain air, I had a harder time getting to sleep the first night. This place would be absolutely outstanding in the winter but I think the bedding could be changed out for summer? The duvets were pretty thick.

We loved this stay and the owners were very kind and communicative despite our terrible German/Italian. The room was extremely clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Despite a bit of a climb (perhaps 15-20mins) uphill from the road, this place was relatively easy to get to using public transit in high summer, especially from Cortina/Dobbiaco - the main Lago Di Braies bus goes right by the town this stay is in. (We had a car but didn't really need it after all.)

Clean and comfortable room. Very polite staff. Excellent location — just a 10-minute drive from Lake Braies. The view from the window overlooks the mountains and green meadows — very beautiful. The interior and the house itself are lovely. We were a bit worried about the parking based on previous reviews, and the entrance is indeed a bit tricky as you have to turn uphill to access it. But the parking area itself is great — spacious, flat, and paved. We really liked it.

Beautiful farm house high above the village. Staff were helpful. They have a peacock and he took me to see it. Also some pet bunnies in cages. Several cows in the milking shed. Amazing view over the valley and especially at sunrise and sunset. Pretty little village and we had dinner at the restaurant behind the church and it was delicious. About 12 mins drive to Lago Brais and we drove there in the afternoon and also for sunrise in the morning. Bed was really comfortable with really soft pillows. Beautiful bathroom with large shower.

Outside is a bit smelly as they raise cows nearly, but you won't smell it inside. No bathing soap is provided.

It's location is perfect, though not by the side of Lake Braies, isn't too far away by driving. It overlooks the valley and is very beautiful. Breakfast is good and the host family is very nice.
