Lovely location just on the edge of Ortisei, with views over the town from the lounge and terrace. The interior is thoughtfully decorated and very relaxing. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended, I now wish we'd booked another night.

I hated that I had to leave.

I loved that it was just out of town yet easy to walk to. A few different buses come by so you don't have to walk back up the hill after a big day hiking. The service at breakfast was great and the view from the balcony was so relaxing.

A scenic location with the facilities meeting our expectations. A wonderful breakfast each morning, and we enjoyed treats with a drink on the verandah each afternoon.

Absolutely nothing! We loved our stay.

Hotel Hartmann was everything we had hoped for. The staff made our stay comfortable and relaxing. The room was clean, well equipped with anything we might needed and the view from our room was just spectacular (photos attached). The breakfast was great with a nice variety of hot and cold food and the sweets left during the day to take was really nice. The honesty bar was a great addition, being able to grab any drinks you want at any time and to just write down what you take. The location was also perfect, nice and quiet and was a short walk down into the main square and to the seceda cable car. We were also given a free bus pass to use during our stay to get around which was super helpful.

Everything was great! It is up the hill from the main town area, but they give you a free bus pass, and it's really not far of a walk.

Amazing chalet just up the street from the main town area. The breakfast was amazing, the spa was beautiful and peaceful, and they had a full honor bar available with tons of drink options. Our room was gorgeous and so spacious, with views of the surrounding mountains. We only stayed 1 night, but wished we had longer there. Highly recommend.

It would be nice if the hotel provided floor fans, as the room was warm. Keeping the windows open for fresh air let in traffic noise.

A charming small hotel, about a 15-minute walk from the town center. The terrace and the happy-hour, with plenty of food options, were a pleasant surprise. The receptionist was exceptionally helpful, accommodating our request for a room with a walk-in shower and offering great recommendations for hikes and restaurants.

The accomodation was great - beautiful views, the included breakfast was delicious and well-stocked, and the access to the sauna and steam room were also a massive bonus (especially during ski season!). The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and helped to arrange delivery of one of our forgotten items. It's located about a 15-20min walk from the centre of Ortisei, but we were given free bus passes to travel around the area (bus stop is opposite the accom), and parking was easy in Ortisei if we wanted to drive.

Our bedroom was small with very limited space for clothes and luggage. The bathroom needs some repair

We were looking forward to some of the spa-like features (sauna). We found them in good working condition, but we didn't find any temperature controls or ways to turn the relaxation music off. It felt a bit 'gimmicky' compared to the other features of the hotel. Other Hotel Hartmanns offer a guest laundry. We would have wanted to book a hotel with one in the future after our multi-day hike before staying here.

Spacious room, nice breakfast, comfortable common areas and fun self-service bar. Pretty great location with easy walk to chair lifts/gondolas to Alpe Di Suisi and Seceda. Hotel is also very close to the bus line and a free pass for our stay came in useful several times. We were very, very happy with our stay overall.

My only regret is we didn't stay longer

This place was amazing, the room was beautiful, the view was incredible and the facilities and wellness centre were a highlight. The reception staff was very very helpful in picking a dinner spot and explaining the area.

There were no free tea and coffee facilities There was a charge of 3 Euros for a tea bag where you had to make your own tea . The cost wasn’t the issue, it was the principle Room was advertised as a mountain view which although technically correct, the view is a side of a hill

The only recommendation is to include tea and coffee in the hotel price. Maybe it might be challenging for some to walk to the center and back, it didn't bother us.

In a beautiful, quiet place, with a good view of the mountains and the city (from our room). Quiet, small hotel. We didn't use the SPA area (we didn't have enough time). Receptionist very kindly explained everything, including the options in the city (where to eat, it was very tasty). Convenient parking (no additional charge). Possibility to make a tea, coffee or a cocktail in the shared kitchen area, but this is for a separate fee (thanks for receptionist hospitality and not charging for tea).

We had a fantastic stay at this charming little hotel in the heart of the Dolomites. It struck the perfect balance between comfort and informality — relaxed, friendly, and thoughtfully run. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well-kept, with just the right touches to make you feel at home after a day out in the mountains. We loved the self-serve breakfast — fresh, generous, and with plenty of choice to fuel a day of hiking. The honesty bar was a lovely touch too, adding to the relaxed, trust-based atmosphere that made our stay feel so personal. The staff were warm and welcoming without being overbearing, always happy to help with advice or a chat. It's clear they genuinely care about their guests.

The property had everything you would need for your stay. There was a honesty system for making your own tea/coffee or drinks at reasonable prices. And although we stayed in the spring there were facilities for relaxing after walking,skiing, hiking ect that one could use free of charge. Ie; sauna, red light room, steam room and a relaxation room. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay again in this hotel.
