I cannot think of anything we didn’t like!

The hotel is brand new, since they just opened in April. Everything about the property is amazing, from the lobby, the breakfast and the rooms. The room was very spacious, with a lovely bathroom, balcony and minibar with complementary water and a small bottle of prosecco. The breakfast is also very nice, with a really big variety of sweet and savory items! And the hosts wil make you the coffee that you like. For us the location was great, it is nestled between the city centre and the valley of the temples. Since we booked our stay around visiting the temples, this was very convenient for us. You can walk to the entrance of the valley within twenty minutes. The city centre is also around 15/20 minutes walking distance. Apart from the restaurants in the city centre, there are also some restaurants closer to the hotel. There also two big supermarkets nearby. Getting to the hotel is also easy, you can walk from the central station of Agrigento, from there its around a 15 minute walk.

Every aspect of our stay at Hera Suites was five-star. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, with elegant contemporary decor. Service was both professional and personal, making us feel very welcome. From our room we enjoyed a beautiful view of the valley and the sea.

We stayed in a suite and could not fault it at all, very well appointed and spotlessly clean with lovely fluffy towels. Alberto is very kind, he showed us around and gave us some recommendations for sightseeing/restaurants etc, always a WhatsApp message away if we needed anything. We really appeaciated the kettle, coffee machine and fridge in the room. Parking was a little bit of a squeeze but it was fine and secure behind gates we were given a remote to open to come and go as we liked. A short walk into town and very close to lots of things to see. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony after a day sightseeing, the property seems to be next to a 'main' road, it never really got very busy and we didn't hear anything at night. The shutters were great, you could have total blackout with them if you wanted, we left them closed in the day rather than run the AC to keep the room cool. The breakfast was delicious with local delicacies, fruit, meat, cheese and delicious pie made by Alberto's wife and fresh juice each day.

Nothing - everything was excellent.

The rooms were amazing, we had a beautiful suite and balcony that looked out towards the sea. The quality of the furnishings and decoration was excellent. It was a great place to relax and all amenities were modern from flat screen TVs (multiple) sofa, sun shutters, coffee machine (brand new), and AC. The breakfast and service was wonderful . It was as good as I would expect in a top quality hotel, our hosts picked out an excellent assortment of local produce from pastries, cold meats and cheeses, cakes and treats, fresh juice, barista coffees, and even a directly farm sourced local ricotta that was stunning. It made an amazing start to each day. Parking was so easy as we received a gate buzzer to use for the length of our stay. It's also walking distance from the main street and not far from the temples.

Absolutely the nicest owner and staff you will ever meet! The hotel is brand new and the facilities are clean, inviting and very modern. The owner did everything to make our stay memorable including helping us pick sites to see, telling us where to park, and recommending where to eat. If you are in Agrigento, this is the hotel to book! They even have a private parking area!

We stayed for one night at this lovely guest house in Agrigento and had a fantastic experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing stay. The highlight was definitely the breakfast – fresh, generous, and full of delicious local specialties. But what really made our visit special was Alberto.
