Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

VietnamWhen I arrive at late night, staff here is very supportive to wait us. We are allowed by her to enter the building. However, all lights are off and elevator didn't work so we had to claim 3 floors with luggage into the dark. Hard to open the door and find lobby light. We feel a bit scare since we feel no person inside building: (
The shared bathroom is for 2 rooms only so it's convenient. Facicilties are ok.

South AfricaNothing in the kitchen besides a fridge (no kettle, stove, microwave, cutlery etc). Wouldn’t recommend to stay here for more than a night. I feel like it is overpriced for what you get. If you do stay here, definitely book the room with the private bathroom like we did.
Apartment is close to the train station which is what we needed as we had a very early train to catch the next day. Very comfortable bed. Host was super friendly and helpful.

United StatesI wasn't sure how to go about swapping my towels out so I hung them on a chair in my room each night and reused them until I was able to see the housekeeper to swap them out. Not a big deal with the towel, but an extra washcloth would have been appreciated. My room listing said it had a full size bed and a twin bed. It only had a full size bed. It was a good size for me, but the extra room I expected would have been helpful when unpacking and packing. The bus stop is convenient, but the bus doesn't come on time or at all sometimes- take the tram or walk. Sometimes it is easier to walk and you get to enjoy more of the city that way too! I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again.
The location is great- convenient to walk to the tram and the kebab place on the corner is yummy. I had a shared bathroom but it was kept clean and was convenient to use. The elevator worked fine once I learned to shimmy the key a bit. I loved being able to hear the tram and it was nice to have a window that opened so I could listen to the sounds in the city if I chose to or close it if I wanted to enjoy some solitude. I felt safe walking at night, even by myself. There is a refrigerator available for storing things if needed. I used the table in the common area several times for making travel plans and for sharing a meal with my son who is studying abroad in Florence. It's a quaint little place and I enjoyed my stay. The manager was quick to respond to messages. The keyless entry is nice- if you miss the code 3 times just wait, it will reset. Once you get the hang of things it's quite easy to navigate the doors, the lights and the elevator. The tram is easy to use and is always on time.

United KingdomIt is not made clear on the booking that the double room is with a shared bathroom. Check in was remote, quick response but not the most straightforward. Room was very hot and extremely noisy during the night with the tram. Room was not up to the level as shown in the photos. No headboard, extremely run down.

TurkeyThere were a lot of mosquitoes and bugs even though there was a charging bug defending device, we git bitten by a lot of them. There was also a heavy smell. the apartment was old and needs proper renovations. The shower stream was not properly installed since they divided the rooms of 1 apartment into 4 and added the toilet and shower externally. There wasn’t any kitchen or equipment other than a very small fridge.
The host was very nice and suggested us near by places to eat and visit, and the location was great near the train station and public transport, there wasn’t any noise during our stay.

United KingdomThe bed was extremely uncomfortable, both me and my husband has a strong back pain and had to take ibuprofen. The lift didn't work downstairs, only upstairs, so every time you needed to walk up two floors to take the lift down and be able to use the lift at all. Shared bathroom is not ideal. We have stayed in Florence for 6 years twice a year on tradeshows and this is the worst value for money we have had for sure.
The host was very friendly and helpful, flexible about check in time, the bathroom was clean
