Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. United StatesThe location is a little questionable, but that is not under the control of the hotel. If you take a taxi into the downtown areas, it is a well-worth it short ride.
The staff were exceptionally attentive and caring, even remembering my son’s name to greet him every time we saw someone. The hotel is beautiful, staying here was like traveling back in time to a vintage luxury. We were supplied robes and slippers, and they even supplied a children’s robe and teddy bear slippers for my son, which shows how caring the staff is. This was the best hospitality service we have received, and we have traveled the world! Also, the restaurant downstairs served some of the best food i’ve ever had, loved the tasting menu!

Wonderful small hotel with a very personal feel. Don’t think we have ever stayed anywhere with better service and staff. Room was great with very comfortable bed and great bathroom. Outstanding breakfast and we had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant.

An outstanding stay at Hotel Regency! The staff truly went above and beyond, with personal touches throughout our visit that made all the difference. From the thoughtful snacks upon arrival to the water bottles when we checked out, they clearly took extra effort to ensure our comfort. The service was excellent across the board, with daily cleaning and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. They even remembered us and greeted us by name, which made it feel extra special. The breakfast was also a highlight—fresh and delicious! Highly recommend for a memorable stay in Florence!

The other option with elevator only offered a Queen size bed and small room when we had requested 2 double beds, which they gave us on the room we occupied. But the stair walk was difficult.

The interior design was beautifully classic and charming. The staff were exceptional, all helpful and cheerful. The room was spectacular with 3 terraces letting in beautiful sun light through out the day. We received complimentary sweets upon check in and were upgraded to a higher category room. Such a nice touch from the hotel. Breakfast selection was healthy and exceptional.
