Comfortable hotel, excellent beds, friendly to animals ( we have 2 Orientals). Has a good restaurant on site. Wonderful sunset. Close to all amenities and good restaurants.

I had a problem with the plug sockets at the hotel, we came from the UK and brought the normal uk to Europe adapters but they didn’t work. We luckily found something behind the Tv which did the job, but I would certainly recommend upgrading this to prevent further issues for guests.

I feel the best part was the pool, it’s a sub trap and it has a lovely bar where you can get refreshments.

The pool area is adjacent to the hotel with public walkways all around it. This combined with low hedging means the area lacks privacy from the general public.

Breakfast could be better. Would like more fresh fruit, better coffee (I think it was the milk in the machine, coffee was fine), and a whole wheat or whole gram bread offered every day. The bread they did offer a couple days was very good. And the rolls were very fresh. Good cheeses.

Well, this is our 4th time at the property, so obviously we like it enough to keep coming back. Love the balcony overlooking the lake where we spend mornings reading. Breakfast needs a little work. New coffee machine that wasn’t up to snuff—but they’ll make you coffee from the machine in the lobby. Very comfortable. Good cotton sheets. Did I mention the fabulous view? And several good restaurants within an easy walk. Bathrooms and rooms have been renovated, but little things did fall apart. (But we’re fixed). And love that there’s a pool big enough for laps.

The breakfast choices were not very wide, and we were surprised that, despite asking, there was no bread.

The room had a balcony and lake view, which was delightful. It was spacious and clean and the bed comfortable. We appreciated the hotel's private carpark.

The hotel is right on the lake and is connected to a restaurant that has nice view of the lake. Some hotel rooms have good views of the lake. The hotel is very convenient to the small town.

The staff were really helpful and nice. The location was perfect, on the lake and right next to the ferry port to take you to the islands. They have a restaurant on the lake which has a very pretty view of the lake and the food was really good.

No soundproofing in rooms, our bathroom leaked from the toilet and the shower door was not sealed and the bathroom flooded during use of the shower

The decor was a bit old and dated. The balcony (and every other balcony we could see) was absolutely covered in bird poop that looks like hadn't been cleaned in days.

The location and view were amazing. The staff was super friendly and helpful. And, the on-site parking was convenient.

None of these are reasons not to stay, but just an FYI for the hotel and any potential visitors ..... The bathroom door opened inwards and bashed loudly into the bidet. There was a feeble pad stuck to the door, but the only thing that properly cured it was hanging a towel over the side of bidet. The staff warned us about insects swarming on the balcony at night and they were not exaggerating. They looked a bit gnat/mosquito although they didn't seem to bite. There were hundreds of them though, so one had to be very quick with the door when going out on the balcony. There is quite a bit of noise until quite late at night if you are out on the balcony (but not audible in the room). It might have been the time of year, but there were quite a few coach parties staying. Most of the time they were not at all intrusive, but if you happened to want to get to your room when one of them had turned up, there was quite a bit of congestion around the lift!

The staff were nice and friendly, and the location and the view were fantastic. The bathroom seemed to have been redecorated recently with lots of marble and new fittings. The room was comfortable and the balcony afforded a lovely view of the lake. There are lots of nice places to eat withing a minute or two's walk. We asked for a late checkout, and they were very happy to let us stay in our room until just before the chamber-maids finished work. The breakfasts were pretty good, with plentiful coffee, juice, bread, pastries and cheese and cold meats.
