Great property with 2min walking access to the vibrant bay of Portofino. Their transfer service to the sister property at Paragi Bay is wonderful. Concierge was helpful with bookings of boat tours, etc.

The room we stayed in ( Suite) was recently refitted, the shower location is unusual and some distance from the bathroom, this has a clear window overlooking nearby apartments that should be frosted. There is no hotel bar, it would have been good to have a bar / coffee facility for guests.

The welcome and staff hospitality is excellent, the hotel is well presented and very new following a recent refit. Location to Portofino centre excellent, we also used the shuttle service to visit the sister hotel and private beach, well worth a visit. The breakfast is superb and staff service outstanding.

room had issues. safe didn’t work. temperature control panels was too bright at night. interfered with sleep as did the red blinking light on the ceiling. there was a bad odor on the floor and in the room. water pressure was poor.

staff was fantastic in every department and at Paraggi. location was great. breakfast was really good fiat shuttle service was convenient.

There was no view from the room at all, we had a small balcony area with a wall covered in greenery in front of the window, so the view was just that!

We had a lovely stay here, just 1 night. The staff were very pleasant, the hotel was clean and the breakfast was lovely. A little strange that scrambled eggs were included in the breakfast but any other type of cooked eggs, ie poached required a supplement! The parking at the hotel was free but very limited, however there is a large public car park nearby which we decided to use as we had found a parking space there ( of which there were few available ) and the hotel advised we would have to vacate any parking at the hotel the following day when we checked out. We planned to spend the day in Portofino after check out so this seemed to be a better option. This was our second trip to Portofino and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Beautiful property with a uniquely-designed room and stylish Mediterranean features. I loved the screen doors that could be left open for fresh air, and the double-sized jacuzzi bathtub.

Advertised bar was actually in sister hotel a mile away. Impression of garden on photos was totally false. There was no tub & loungers, just a building site with no access. First floor of garden had chairs & was overgrown with weeds. Not told in advance.

It was tiny, the staff were extremely unhelpful especially considering it was a five star hotel -- for example when we arrived the man at the front desk didn't even help open the door or help with our bags even though we were the only ones there and had a baby. That night the alarm went off twice once at 1 am and at 2 am and no one even apologized the next morning. The room was so tiny it was laughable. We truly do not understand how this hotel is five stars -- it is an incorrect rating by any standard, and so terribly overpriced. If we had better understood the geography of the area, we would have just stayed in a less expensive place in town and received the same service (namely, no service). Do not recommend.

Honestly, do not recommend, overpriced, over-rated (should not be five stars) and no service.
