There was nothing we didn’t like

We have stayed at this hotel before and we love it. The location is central to everything. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel has a nice calming vibe and the early afternoon relaxing coffee biscuits and Prosecco was beautiful after a long walk around Florence. Would definitely stay here again.

The lift was a little slow, which really wasn’t a problem as I always chose to walk the beautiful staircase.

Hotel Cerretani was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the luxurious ambiance and beautiful decor. The staff were exceptional. The breakfast was a standout. The room was beautiful- very luxurious and the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. The location couldn’t be better—just a 5-minute walk from both the train station on one side and the Duomo 5 mins on the other, yet incredibly quiet and peaceful inside. I loved, loved, loved everything about this hotel and would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Florence!

The only minor flaw is that the room is located on a high floor, which might be the reason why the shower pressure is a bit weak. In fact, I only wanted to deduct 0.1 point, giving a total score of 9.9, but Booking.com's system doesn't allow that—what a pity!"

The hotel is situated between the Duomo and the train station, making it convenient to go anywhere. The staff are professional and courteous. The room is elegantly designed, quiet, and comfortable, with complete amenities. We can even see the dome of the Cappelle Medicee, offering a spacious and open view. In addition to a complimentary mini bar, the hotel provides a generous supply of bottled water every day — something we truly appreciated during our summer visit to Florence!

Cleaning staff need more training

The hotel and rooms are great, the cleaning staff need a bit more training, it was clean, but they take away used towels and water bottles and they don't replace it, I needed to call couple of times about that. Other than that, the staff and hotel was great and the location is excellent. I'll be going back there

The first room I was allocated had a strange layout with no sitting area. When I complained, they moved me to a much nicer one, which even had a bit of a view. It seems that the Junior Suites vary considerably and you should note that if you want a sofa, you should book the Junior Suite with sofabed. The only thing wrong with the room itself was low water pressure in the shower in the otherwise excellent bathroom.

Outstanding service from all the staff. Excellent location, within a short walk of the main sites, the railway station and numerous restaurants and shops. Very clean, bed very comfortable. Despite being right on a busy street, completely quiet due to effective double glazing.

Had an amazing stay with this hotel. The rooms are clean, spacious and I loved the bathroom as well. Bed was perfect and the location is superb. Also big huge thanks to the staff for being helpful and rescheduling my stay to another date. Bravo!

Rooms are little bit dark, breakfast is good but the options might change daily, it is same everyday. There is no room service or any food options after certain hour in the night, it has a super basic and small gym.

Very central location you can walk everywhere easily, spacious and modern rooms especially for the ones not enjoying very classic style common in Florence hotels, very clean and super friendly stuff!

We had booked an Executive room, however, the corridor leading to the room was quite narrow with 6-7 steps after getting off the lift so we had to drag our luggages up and down the stairs on check in and check out (something we wouldn’t expect to do considering that we had chosen an upgraded room). Also, no view from the room, just at the back of a small street.

We requested a quiet room and we got it. Comfortable beds and spacious bathroom! A few min walk from the train station and Santa Maria del Fiore, Medici chapel and Mercato Centrale. Supermarket is nearby. Nothing to complain at all. Definitely will stay here again!
