Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The balcony is kinda small and pretty close to the other building, which is a common thing in Palermo, but I personally disliked. Not a big deal though.
Amazing location in the heart of the Old Center, the central train/bus station, Lidl, tabacchi and a square are all 5min away which is perfect. Clean apartment and clean shared kitchen/area, soundproofing was great, the other guests were friendly too and the host was very welcoming and helpful, we had a great stay.

Amazing location of apartment in the very centre of old Palermo. Very close to all sites we wanted to visit. Apartment is very clean and comfortable with a small balconie where you have interesting view on the old street with sweet bars, restorants, coffee shop.I Reccomend.!

The only thing is that the doors to the rooms are quite thin and if other people rent the other rooms you can hear them in the kitchen but it wasnt a big problem.
The owners were super nice and helpful! The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. All the appliances necessary were available in the kitchen. They had a lot of nice recommendations for us and the location of the apartment is perfect for Palermo! Everything is walking distance. The area was ery nice in old town. Cute streets with restaurants and bars around the corner, but the street where the apartment is located was very quiet. They also checked a parking spot for us since we rented a car for two days. It was right across the street and 15€ per day. The owners also have cute shop in the old town, where they sell local products and souveniers that are perfect as a gift or offer tours and other things. Since we visited in February, it was a bit cold - there was a heater in the room but somehow it didnt function proberly. We told the owners and within two hours they send somebody to fix it and double checked, if everything worked and it was repaired. That was great!

I really enjoyed the location for this property, right in the heart of the historic city. Every street had an exciting opportunity to explore. Also very short walk to train and bus station.

No windows in my room and it was tiny. No where to store or unpack clothes.

The room is really only good as a place to sleep. It’s dark and the patio is really just a light well that can’t be used as a recreational space.
The property is run by a super friendly team who are passionate about what they do. The rooms are in a central location making it easy to see the sights of Palermo on foot. Good communication regarding the check in process and we were able to store luggage after check out.

The shower cubicle was a little small in one of the rooms.
The rooms were lovely with great aircon and lovely bedding. Location was excellent right in the historical centre and an easy walk to all the main sites.

The Wi-Fi was weak in the evenings.
The property is in a lovely neighbourhood with restaurants and cafes nearby. The room is modern and perfect for a few nights. The hosts were very friendly, and stored our luggage in the tourism office / shop nearby.

The apartment was not that clean as we expected for that price but still acceptable. The room was cleaned once in the middle of the week and the cleaning GUY was really very good, put all the heart in the cleaning process. I, personally have a bit OCD when it comes to cleaning so it was partly my problem too.
The apartment has an amazing location, close to the city center and also to the shore (though without any beaches in the neighborhood). The room was pretty big for 2 people and fully accommodated, bathroom was also good without any technical problems. I’d have advised this place to someone who wants to explore historical Palermo itself and isn’t fond of beaches.

Small room is very small but if don't stay all day at home it is ok.
Very pleasant stuff, warm check in with bottle of vine and some sweet jam as a gift. Location is perfect.

The first morning we were woken up by construction noises at 7am. The staff did however compensate us for this. The shower had very low pressure and you had to try really hard to find a position for the head to stay on one place or hold it the whole time you showered. We stayed for 4 nights and our towels were never changed which I find odd.
The location was great! Super close to the historic centre and the best places to eat. The staff were also super accomodating with an issue we had.

Great location close to restaurants and bars, walkable from train station. Got great guidance for remote login. Room and apartment had everything I needed, bed comfortable, wifi great. When the shower head was broken it was fixed promptly by Francesco. Lots of local knowledge and suggestions available as well. Recommended!

Nothing to fault it.
Location amazing for closeness to train station and the historic sights. Lidl supermarket round the corner. Communication with charming host excellent. Newly refurbished, stylish, luxury accommodation with kitchen facilities. If you are the type who likes everything to be close by, especially local restaurants and bars. The local as well is closed to the monuments and the sea. The room as well as the apartment were very clean, you will find everything you need in the kitchen. The friendly Francisco was always available if we need anything. We also got best recommendations from him about Palermo. We are absolutely happy with our choice and will recommend it to our friends.
