From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality by our incredible host—always smiling, thoughtful, and truly dedicated to making guests feel at home. Every detail of our stay was infused with care and love, making this one of the most memorable experiences we've ever had. The breakfast was nothing short of extraordinary. Each morning we were woken by the smell of freshly baked croissants and treated to an abundant spread that could rival a five-star hotel: homemade fruit tarts, cake and bread, a fresh platter of homemade bacon and sausages, tomatoes, cheese, fluffy omelettes, fresh fruit, juice, and tea and coffee. Everything was crafted with passion, and you could taste the love in every bite. The accommodation itself was equally impressive—classy, elegant, and furnished with timeless antiques that added a touch of old-world charm. The terrace was beautiful and perfect for relaxing, and the room had air-conditioning. Everything was impeccably clean, tidy, and well-organised, down to the sheets and towels trimmed delicately with lace. What truly stood out was the host's attention to every possible detail—from the aesthetics to the atmosphere, nothing was overlooked. He also went out of his way to suggest wonderful places to visit and dine, helping us discover the hidden gems of Civita and its surroundings. Staying here felt like receiving a big, warm hug from Civita itself. It was not just a place to sleep, but a soulful, heartwarming experience that we will never forget. Five stars are simply not enough for the effort, generosity, and hospitality we received. Highly, highly recommended.. This hotel is situated at the best end of the village with stunning views, the host is very attentive and ensures you have the very best of everything including a wonderful breakfast. To be honest I do not know how they can offer such wonderful service at such a reasonable price just excellent 👍

The views from the B&B, the breakfast, and the hospitality. I really enjoyed my 2 night stay at Gianluca’s B&B. It was a magical experience. I definitely recommend staying here if you visit Civita Cifti.

The rooms and buildings are beautiful with comfortable beds and a great hot shower! But the best part of this place is Gianluca and his wife. They are the greatest most hospitable hosts on earth!! Oh and the breakfast is amazing!!

Gianluca is an amazing, kind, and very knowledgeable host. He knows a lot about the rich history and culture of the village. The location and the view of the hotel are breathtaking. By far, the best pillows i ve slept in a hotel!! Highly recommended.

Gianluca and his wife were the perfect hosts ! They went above and beyond to make you feel at home. Helped with restaurant recommendations, things to do and even history lesson of the area ! The location was beautiful, overlooking the Devils Bridge and the gorge.

Excellent location, next to start of the trail to Devils Bridge. Very welcoming host. The breakfast was very extended with savory options like eggs, cheese and tomatoes. Some nice restaurants within walking distance.

Gianluca is an amazing host. He gave us great advive on activities, places to eat and the rich history of Civita. We had a room with two balconys which was great during afternoon heat as one always had shade. Hiking the surrounding mountains and the Raganello Valley was a great experience. Go to Pollino and stay with Gianluca if you have the chance and enjoy the outdoors!

First of all Gian Luca and Eva are the nicest and most welcoming hosts. The room is very comfortable and the breakfast with freshly prepared items exceptional. The trail dedcending to the ponte di diablo starts just next to the house. Civita itself is a chrming village conserving its tradition and its beautiful location.

If small and quiet towns aren't your thing, you might be challenged a little bit. Dinner options are limited and shopping is not nearby.

The house was beautiful, the location is gorgeous, the hosts are terrific. The breakfast they provided was varied and delicious. It is unlikely I will ever be in this part of the world again, but if I am, I will definitely stay here. Rent a car. Public transportation options are limited.

We loved the hotel, the location of the hotel, the superfriendly owners, the breakfast, the service, the cleanliness and the environment (the gorge and mountains are very nice)! We had a lovely stay and definately recommend this hotel!!!

Giancarlo and his wife are fantastic hosts in all regards! Civitas is a fascinatingly place with an incredible history of Greek-Albanians who settled there in the 1000's fleeing from the Ottomans, and still speak their Albanian dialect and keep the old culture alive. Giancarlo took so much time to explain it all to me and answer all my questions. The room was charming with a great view of the mountains. The breakfast was over-the-top, including great pastries, and breads, cooked-to-order eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit, and wonderful cheeses and tomatoes. Fabulous location; the inn opens to a plaza that looks over the stunning Raganello Gorge and the old Roman road including the Devil's Bridge. Easy walking distance to village and restaurants.

Heaven on earth. Wonderful hosts -- really incredible hospitality. View from room and breakfast room beyond belief. An absolutely charming situation. We will be back.
