How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

A lovely small apartment in a nice little part of Lake Como. Giovanna was very accommodating and helpful which made the stay that more enjoyable. Thanks a lot Giovanna. We hope to be back one day!

Lack of counter space in the bathroom, but that's being picky.
It was spotless - exceptionally spotless!!! And decorated with lovely taste and care. Everything they could think of was there...even homemade cookies to welcome us:))))

No lake views from flat, but as it is located above Torno on the hillside, there are lake views all around it if you enjoy walking a little.
Cosy duplex appt. Rustic charm in old village setting. Well looked after, safe and secure location.

Parking can be a little tricky, but it's provided. And is very secure. Book a small car for Italy, wherever you go.
Lovely apartment in quaint old torno. Owners were very responsive and met us to help with luggage as this property is tucked away and a short walk from the street. But it is in a pretty courtyard setting. There are nice walks I torno and good restaurants.

We stayed in the studio and we liked it! It was clean and equipped with everything we needed for at-home meals. The house is situated in a convenient part of Torno, close to the small supermarket, the bus stop that we used to reach Bellagio, restaurants, and the ferry stop. The owners were friendly and helped with directions to reach the house. We even got tasty homemade cookies as a welcome gift!

nothing - we liked everything about our stay.
We loved our stay at Giovanni and Cinzia's apartment! The location is perfect - both the town of Torno in general, and the apartment's location within Torno. The apartment is comfortable and feels like home as soon as you arrive. We had everything we needed for our (nearly 3 week!) stay. The bed and bedding is super comfortable. The A/C was a welcome addition, especially at the beginning of stay when the weather was quite warm! But the best part was our hosts - always there if needed and wonderfully hospitable! We would recommend to all visitors to the area!

Really lovely apartment, much bigger than expected, perfect for the two of us and a dog, and a wonderful private courtyard. Very charming and with all the modern amenities. The location is in a beautiful quiet town of Torno which is really close to Bellagio by car.

The price of the apartment and parking is a bit higher, but it's expected considering the popularity of lake Como. Torno is lovely, but be prepared to walk on narrow, steep streets and quite a lot of steps. Also, if necessary, do the grocery shopping somewhere else as the choices are limited.
The apartment is great, it's nicely decorated and fully equipped. The view from the room is amazing. The hosts were really nice and helpful and we even got some delicious home-made cookies. We'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting lake Como.

Not really a dislike,but Torno is very hilly and be able to climb lots of stairs. Fine for me, I am 80 with a knee replacement.

We weren't the biggest fans of the bathroom layout - it's an open space in the bedroom with steps, and toilet has doors with a window. Might not be the best choice for friends, or just couples which respect their privacy.
The hosts are unbelievably welcoming! The apartment is as on the photos, large amounts of amenities, kitchen appliances etc.

There was cold and moist. If they dont turn up heating it is too cold to stay there. There is a lot of stairs from the harbour.
It is a nice, hidden flat in an old style italian house. Owner is very friendly.

Very few options to eat at an affordable price. Nothing bad to say about the apartment itself.
We loved the apartment itself. It is nice decorated, the hosts were incredibly welcoming and had good communication. It is in a quiet residential neighbourhood which we prefer. Very comfortable bed and big shower

Really none.
Not every pet-friendly accommodation welcomes cats but this one does! The host even prepared snack, food bowls and placemats for our cats!! (and also delicious cookies for human :-) ) Both we and our cats were very satisfied in staying in this accommodation. It was also nice to experience living in a local town of Torno. Highly recommended!

Great place, well equipped, very kind host, the loft had everything it needed starting from dishes, kitchen utensils and extra snacks to an aid kit. Beautiful lake view. Nice location, close to the bus stop, easy access to Bellagio or Como. About 1,5h (train+bus) from Milan. Great pizza place about 5-7 min by walk, open late.

The shower head sprays all over the place
