We expected a farm stay. It is not really a minus point, but you feel more like you're in a hotel than at a family-run farm stay. It would be great to have a bit more personality. Restaurant visitors also use the pool area and sometimes leave it messy. It looked like no one cared about that area.

Amazing swimming pool, fabulous food. Everything is fresh, clean, and lovely. The restaurant is lively and busy, and the food is amazing! The agritourismo sits between green hills. The views from the rooms and the pool are breathtaking.

Great place, I booked it blind, we just needed to be in the area. Turned out to be an absolute treasure. We had a great stay. The staff were amazing (and they spoke English) plus the food in the restaurant is spectacular - I recommend the steak.

No any facilities compared to a normal hotel stay. No wifi in the room. No coffee machine or electric kettle , even no bottle water in the traditional double room…

The entire property is a fairytale. We were very pleased with the location, the food, the service. Mrs. Irma is very kind and attentive, she was very careful to our needs and preoccupied that were happy and comfortable with both the service and the place. We would recommend this place when going in Tuscany and we for sure will be happy to come back!

The room had no working air conditioner and the property owner insisted is was not necessary. Unfortunately this made us sleep very poorly- if the AC or a fan had been there we would have had a very good experience.

We were just one night, had rain all night, nothing to say about restaurant or pool. It's was ok for the price in Italy. We could not sleep well till everyone ( neighbours) had been in bed,, not from talking but from the in-out of each door openings .

The only slight detractor is the kitchen in the apartment. Some of the pans etc were dirty. No dishwashing soap or brush is provided either, nor basics such as salt or oil.

It is in a beautiful location-gorgeous views all around. The staff of wonderful and helpful. The pool was great fun and all the food we had was delicious. This was our second time here and we’d be happy to return. We had the two-bedroom ground floor apartment which was comfortable with a kitchen, 2 bathrooms and outdoor space. Special mention to the staff who are very helpful and accommodating.

Everything. The food at the restaurant was amazing. My room was spotlessly clean. The staff went above and beyond to help and made the stay relaxing and enjoyable. Its so close to the A1 highway, the main Rone-Florence train line, and the local town is minutes away AND you are in the most peaceful serene place. It seems like you drove miles deep into the country but so close to so many services. I booked on a whim and certainly made the right choice. Loved it so much that I chose to stay another night! Staying at Il Colombaio Agriturismo in Italy was an experience beyond our wildest expectations. The breathtaking beauty of the location far surpasses anything the pictures can convey. Every meal was a culinary delight, and the service was impeccable. Our room was spacious and impeccably clean. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our every request. Particular to our room, there was some shower drain issue, but I’m sure it’s fixed by Athanasio by now. Irma would have made sure of it.

The property is well located for a respite, shortly off the A1 but immediately immersed in nature. Both hosts Irma and Athanasio and their family were most hospital. The local specialities were delicious, loved the funghi pasta with shaved tartuffo! The pool was the best we experienced, clean and refreshing. The owners took every care to make sure our stay was to be repeated.

Beautiful location in the countryside just a few km from the lovely medieval village of Parrano. Fantastic hosts who are clearly passionate about what they do. Food was exceptional! A lovely place to spend some time.
