Breakfast service could probably start earlier. The rooms are not airconditioned; it was not a major problem in my case, but an airconditioned room would have been nice in the hot week I was there.

Nice hotel, friendly stuff. Olga was very helpful by organizing a transfer of luggage to the next hotel in my solo trek. I had to leave early so I missed breakfast, but was offered an alternative fare in the hotel's cafe.

Suite bedroom for 4 (2 adults 2 kids), very clean, almost brand new, spacious. Great breakfast. Late check-in made possible with easy access (key locker). Beautiful setting in the heart of the village, pleasant square and terrace. Quality restaurants nearby. The staff is very friendly.

There is no airco and the fan above the bed makes noise so we did not have a good nights sleep.

Perfect location at the square and convenient free parking close by. Very friendly staff and clean and comfortably big rooms with very nice big shower. Perfect for exploring the region. We had a very big balcony with a lovely view towards the vineyards.

Everything about Il Grappolo was excellent and all the staff, especially Cosmin, the manager, couldn't have been nicer or more friendly and helpful. Although the hotel restaurant (which does very good food) was closed in the evening (the bar and terrace are open all day until 8pm) Monforte has lots of lovely restaurants and bars for wine tastings and good food so it is a good place to base yourself for exploring the surrounding areas.

The hotel is beautifully and centrally located on the town square of Monforte. It’s a landmark of the town and it’s terrace restaurant is very popular with locals and tourists alike. The building is beautiful. The rooms are very comfortable and stylishly furnished in traditional style. The room and the furniture was in immaculate condition and everything was spotlessly clean. The view from the balcony towards the town and vineyards was beautiful beyond words. The service was memorably good and friendly. It’s a family run hotel, and everyone seems to work with pride towards making your stay feel special. In no time the gentleman at the front desk had booked us for a wine tasting one hour later on the Sunday afternoon, and jumped in our car to show us to the car parking located just in the close vicinity of the hotel. The food and wine in the restaurant were excellent, a real quality affair in true Italian style. A fantastic stay in a memorably good hotel!
