We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

LuxembourgMelissa is a thoughtful and welcoming host who has a real gift for making her guests feel at home. The breakfasts she prepares are outstanding – everything is homemade and absolutely delicious. The house itself is full of charm and family history, with a warm and soulful atmosphere. It’s good located: peaceful, yet close to everything, with an excellent restaurant just a two-minute walk away. A place where you instantly feel at ease.

United KingdomLoved our stay here in the mountains. Small place, full of character, and perfect for us as a couple. Melissa was a terrific host, incredibly helpful and quite the baker. You won’t leave breakfast feeling hungry. A couple of excellent local restaurants walking distance. Also enjoyed cooling off in river next to the B&B. Great stay.

GermanyFor us it was just perfect, exactly what we were looking for. One might argue that you have to take the car to get to town.
IL Mulino di Aurora is such a lovely place up in the mountain above lake como. Melissa and her family restored their old mill besides a creek. Melissa is a wonderful host, serving delicious breakfast every morning. Most of the ingredients are homemade or local (jam, honey, cake,...). She has also lots of tips and ideas for trips and eating out. We totally enjoyed our stay and will come back

GermanyThe owner, Melissa, is the one of the friendliest person ever. Very nice decoration, fantastic breakfast, wonderful hiking possibilities… During our stay, we felt like at home. Highly recommended! Also, there is a very good restaurant just 2 minutes away.

GermanyWe booked three nights and had to leave after one night since we have two little ones (2 and 3 years old). We did a mistake with our booking since we forgot to mention our kids. However, we had a travel bed with us and did not need anything. Because of the kids she threw us out the next morning and said we need to talk with booking about our booking and the money we paid. We had to book another accommodation and paid two hotels for two days which was very expensive for us. Later we learnt that it is clearly her decision if she is willing to reduce the nights to just one. We tried to contact her several times to find a solution. But she did not react neither to our or booking.com contact attempts. After 10 days, when we wrote that we don’t know what to do except a poor rating she answered that it’s our problem and we wanted to cheat her. We are very disappointed since we would have no benefit by not mentioning our kids and we just did a human mistake. But her customer service was just poor and there was no willingness to discuss it at all or find a solution. We would have been open for a compromise but she was dealing with us really worse. I can not recommend this place at all since it always can happen that someone makes a mistake. The worst experience on our trip.
