Our stay here was very comfortable. Salvio could not have been more helpful, offering good suggestions about restaurants and how to use our time in the area to the best advantage. The secured free parking could not have been bettered. A real plus. The breakfast at the cafe across the street was absolutely fine and adequate. Would definitely recommend this accommodation

Everything was perfect.

The host was very friendly and helpful. He helped us with our luggage and was always available to help with anything we needed. The breakfast was great. The apartment has its own unique atmosphere. It is close to the bus stops and the train station, making it very convenient for tourists who are not just staying in Siracuse.

The apartment, designed around a piano concept, was very comfortable. Although we stayed only one night, the host welcomed us with great kindness and provided detailed explanations and support regarding parking and breakfast. It was also conveniently located within walking distance of the main attractions in Syracuse, making it easy to explore the city.

Loved the concept of the place (sibellius is a great composer!) and the owner was super helpful with our luggage! There is a piano in the room for us to play and the setup is very warm and welcoming! Very impressed!

The room was cold, and the air conditioning wasn’t sufficient to heat it — we ended up getting sick. The location is also quite far from the main attractions; it took about 25 minutes to walk to Ortigia.

breakfast in a lovely cafe next door. Delicious coffee, fresh cookies, jofurts and juice. very good location, close to shops and pubs, pharmacy, hospital. About a kilometer to the island, 600 meters to the excavations. If you want excellent care, concern and help - you are traveling with an elderly person or a small child - be sure to choose this place!!! Dad had an accident a few days earlier and I was sick, the hosts took great care of us. THAnk you!!!!

There is nothing that attracted our attention.

The communication with Salvo was ongoing and excellent, both at the time of booking and also during our very short stay. Given that we arrived in Siracusa at an earlier time, Salvo was so kind to allow us an early check in at noon. As we arrived at the location there was Salvo who greeted us in the street and gave me access to the gated private parking. There are two flights of stairs to reach the apartment with no lift; it was good to do some physical exercise :) . The property consists of two spacious rooms and a private shower room with inbuilt music / radio :) . There is also a piano in the room :) . Despite the very close proximity to a hospital, the rooms were free from outside noise and we could get a full good night sleep. Complementary water, juices and tea making facilities were available in the room. The property is equipped with an AC, has a matrimonial bed and another two single beds in the second room. Breakfast which consisted of coffee, orange juice, milk and croissants was delivered to our room at the agreed time. Ortigia is 20 minutes on foot away from the property; and we could enjoy the nice walk along the commercial / lively main roads. The property is pet friendly

The bed sheets are a bit worn out and may need replacement.

The owner was very kind, the location is perfect and the piano is nice. Everything is in harmony with the musical style of the apartment, even the bed sheets.

Our stay in Siracusa was more than perfect. The owner of the apartment, Salvo, made it even better with his hospitality and excellent behavior. We couldn't have asked for more. Our flight to Catania was delayed with 2 hours and we weren't able to collect our car on loan. At the last moment we saw that there was a bus to Siracusa and we took it immediately. We wrote a message to Salvo and he was such a great person to come and take us from the bus station at 1 o'clock during the night. Thank you Salvo!

Salvo is Professional host offering plenty of guidance around Siracusa (inc. map of attractions). He is responsive and pleasant person. Good almost seamless Whatsup contact. Localisation of the “II Pianoforte B&B” makes it especially easy for anybody who wants to visit Ortigia and Syracuse attractions just by walking. Multiple restaurants are also very accessible. Availability of a private parking with secure access is increasing safety of hired car. Greetings for friendly and helpfull breakfast staff from “Bar Milano”. Highly recommended. Thank you Salvo.

Fantastic accommodation, great host who was very helpful. Salvo even carried our bags to and from our car. Excellent communication. Parking was great in secure lot behind the building. Very clean and spacious accommodation, great area for seeing Siracusa and Ortigia. Excellent breakfast and coffee at nearby cafe as well as one day in our room. Even catered for me being gluten free which was really appreciated. Fantastic stay

The host is very helpful. He gave us very useful information about local amenities and he was always making sure we were comfortable and happy. We also appreciated the private parking spot as we traveled by car. The breakfast was lovely and provided by a bar, across the road. The baristas were also very kind and welcoming, and full of information (I had a personal mini geology lecture on Etna volcano!). The place's location is also good. It was a 10-minute walk to the archeological park and a 10-to 15-minute walk to Ortigia island.

If you need to use the air conditioner, it’s rather noisy. Since it was October, we only used it to cool the place after dinner before we went to bed. Breakfast was good if you like continental style - your choice of baked good, drink and yoghurt cup at the bar across the street - but not the kind of breakfast we’re used to.

Spacious, comfortable apartment (more crowded if 3 people). Salvo is a really nice host, very responsive. He lent us two bikes to use and carried them up and down the stairs for us. We chose this place because it came with free, secure parking. The place is very close to the archaeological park so well located for that, but about a 15 minute walk to the start of Ortigia Island so less well located for the latter. However, we used the bikes to go to Ortigia, although you have to be comfortable cycling in traffic. It was quiet at night but some early morning traffic. Restaurant with good food around the corner.

Location of the room is not in the very nice zone. There is no nice wiev from the room. And breakfast is served in a quite unpleasant caffeebar very close to the room. We wouldn't choose this accommodation for longer period.

We stayed here only for one night and we came from the airport very late, so we just needed a room for one night. The best part was absolutely that there was a reserved parking spot for us just behind the buiding and on top of it the very kind host let us leave our car there also the whole next day even after our check-out. The room is nice, big and very clean. The host is very helpful.

We wished we had stayed longer in Siracusa, as it's a wonderful city with Ortygia nearby.

We had 2 large rooms with beds and a couch, so for 2 of us, it was spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect, we were able to walk to all the sites, and there were lots of cafes and shops on our doorstep. Our hosts were very caring and helpful.
