How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Quite a way into Alghero ... you wouldn't want to travel that distance each evening to eat and parking was difficult. Local supermarket best as parking awful at those in Alghero, but limited choice.

Verified reviewClean and large apartment, good beds. Lovely pool area. Nice local restaurant, in walking distance. Clean and well maintained area around the apartments. Nice and friendly staff.
Insufficient equipment in the kitchen, we had to ask for a bread knife. Only two of the four burners on the stove worked. Was promised it would be fixed, but it didn't happen. The apartments are located very close together, so you can follow what's happening with your neighbors. Most showed consideration, but not all.

Verified reviewThe resort is very beautiful and the rooms are nicely spaced. It has 3 pools for the residents to use, BBQ area, kids areas and very close to alghero city.
The location can only be reached by a car. For whoever is renting here be aware that from the main door to the rooms there is more than 1 km walk in a very bad terrain. We arrived late at 11pm and the receptionist knew that we would arrive late, however she did not dare let us know that the rooms were so far away and had to.walk up.hill.in the dark carrying the luggages. Kids were tired so can imagine! They have an emergency number on which I called but they did not offer help. Do not eat in their restaurant because it is a complete rip off and the food is very bad. We choose to eat their specialities only to be given bruschetta and beef stew instead of wild boar! Never ate such bad food in an Italian place!! also rooms are not sound proof and whilst taking a.nap.in the afternoon with the our baby, the cleaners came banging and doing all.sorts of noises in the apartment next door. No respect whatsoever.

The panoramic apartments located at the top of the hill are clearly described in our listing and are highly appreciated by our guests for the unique views they offer — as you also kindly acknowledged.We were contacted via the emergency number and responded promptly, offering assistance and the possibility of calling a taxi, with a guaranteed refund the following day — an offer that was declined. It was only the next day that we learned about the issue regarding the uncollected rental car, a circumstance outside of our control. Our countryside location, as clearly stated on Booking, makes the use of a car advisable — a choice you had initially made.We are surprised not to find any mention of our staff’s availability, who tried to assist you in obtaining a new rental car (which was declined) and even accompanied one of you to the supermarket to help with your shopping. As for the restaurant, our team fondly remembers your visit: the atmosphere was friendly, the dishes were appreciated, your compliments warmly received, and a generous tip was left. We’re sorry that your overall experience was not entirely positive, but we hope the pleasant moments you did enjoy — such as your time at the pools — will also remain part of your memories. The only thing that disappointed us was the restaurant on site. We accepted that it was only open at weekends until the busy season kicks in but we booked a table for the Saturday evening which was also my birthday. When we made the booking, nobody advised us that it was a set tasting menu. We were therefore surprised when we were shown our table and some hams and cheese were already there. Then some other dishes started arriving…eventually a waitress asked if we knew it was a set menu, we said no. Unfortunately most of the dishes were traditional of Sardinia but not of our choice and therefore were totally wasted and it was an expensive meal for something we did not enjoy. Think maybe the staff in restaurant should actually advise customers when taking the bookings to avoid disappointment.

Verified reviewThe resort is very nice, our apartment had all the facilities needed. The location is good, quite close to Alghero. I was a bit afraid that it would be noisy as it is quite close to the airport, but I haven't heard any plane.
I would have liked to have the breakfast included , but I understood they do not serve breakfast, so we had to cook, which was fine in the end.
