We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

GermanyThe owners are absolutely lovely and took me and my bicycle to the train station in Orte when I made a planning mistake and found out that the intended train from Montefiascone would not allow for bicycle transportation - great hospitality! The BnB has a beautiful garden with some lovely cats running around. The room could be accessed either via the main entrance or via a private entrance from the little terrace in front of the room. For people traveling by car, there is sufficient parking space and the complete complex is secured by an electric gate. The room was totally clean and the bathroom looked completely new. The breakfast selection is sweet but with numerous options (fruits, cereals, croissants, chocolate cream, cake, yoghurt,…).

The dining area had a wide variety of to choose from toast and jams, yogurt, fruit, coffe and juices. It was just what we needed to catch the trail and start our next leg on the Via Francigena.

AustraliaDaniela was amazing - she made every effort to ensure we were comfortable and that we understood all the workings of our room, the doors, and the communal breakfast/kitchen area. Each room has a designated breakfast table with separate water bottles, pastries, breakfast items etc, and a designated area in the fridge. There is also tea and coffee and biscuits available all day. The laundry area was made available to us, and we were allowed to charge our car. Our room ‘Ophelia’ was clean and spacious with a lovely picturesque bathroom and doors to both the communal area and a more private back exit. The property is quiet and peaceful with a very special garden and adorable cats. We loved our stay.
