The water in the shower had very low pressure, making it difficult to take a proper shower.

Stairs….lol! They say to prepare for stairs in Positano but it’s a LOT! Stairs to the beach, stairs to and from the main road to our room. There is a bus that runs a loop up and down but it’s not super convenient to have to always take it. The walk up is not terrible but depending on your level of physical ability, it could be an issue. The room we had for four people had zero view of the coast. Other rooms for less than four may have had a view?

Very central location to shopping with a short 20 minute walk down the hill towards the beach. Clean, typical hotel style breakfast, nothing special but not bad. Not many restaurants immediately around the property that were family friendly. Different story if you were just there as a couple.

Shower temperature was hard to control, WiFi came & went sometimes, but overall a great hotel.

Very uncomfortable/hard bed (was 2 singles pushed together). Not much ventilation in bathroom.

Great location, direct steps down to beach, close to bus stop and 15 min walk to main town centre. Very quiet and nice outdoor terrace with garden view. Good breakfast included.

It's not the hotel's fault but Positano is not an easy city to navigate. Of course, lots of steps if you don't know which road to take. Make sure you get directions from the hotel's owners before trying to reach the hotel by yourself, it can be hard to find on your own. Hiring luggage porters at the port is a good idea too, very efficient. We might not have gotten the best room in this hotel, ours was a little tired and needed an update... but we peeked in other rooms and they seemed more attractive. We enjoyed the originality of the site, and the other positive points, so we still enjoyed our experience.

Really appreciated the hotel owners, very nice and dedicated people. Listen to Enzo's advice and your stay in Positano will be much smoother. The breakfast was really amazing, more varied and generous than what we've seen elsewhere. The site of the hotel is very charming, it's next to a crevice in the rock filled with trees... It's almost like being in the countryside... but in the city. There's a sea view from the dining room. It's very quiet at night, you get to watch the stars... It's nice to have a little patio... It's a quiet and peaceful place. We liked to discover the little passages leading to the hotel, with many cute cats roaming. The beach is near, if you go down a few stairways... 400 steps, but there's a way to avoid climbing them all on your way back, ask Enzo.

The staff was friendly, helpful, and responsive. We required assistance halfway through our stay, and they were able to accommodate us quickly. Our room was tucked away into a green valley, with a beautiful patio. We were only a short walk from the main road, which runs through the entire city of Positano and leads all the way to the beach.

- The bedroom was too noisy because there is a private terrace on the roof. - Old fashioned room with a noisy fridge. - Too expensive for the quality received, you expect more for a more than 200€ per night room. - Breakfast was just normal.

Real nice hotel. Very clean and modern. Excellent staff, very nice included breakfast. Centrally located. Great location for hiking Positano mountains. Short walk to beach. Great selection of restaurants 3-5 minutes walking distance Great value.

The room was very strange and very old. There was even a section of the room covered with a curtain which was out of bounds leading to an old kitchen which was out of use.

A very cute italian place! Extremely friendly staff/family and in a perfect place. Easy to walk up/down the main road with a nice view too. Breakfast had good variety!

My biggest disappointment is that even though the listing said there is wifi available, there was no wifi signal in the room AT ALL. The listing also said there's TV cable available but it was not. I expected them to refund some of our money for the discrepancy and incorrect info but they didn't offer us anything.

The place isn’t up to date. Very old and moldy. The breakfast isn’t great and it’s terrible presentation. I don’t recommend this property to anyone

The property is beautiful but the maintenance of the property is terrible. You can tell the owner doesn’t invest in his property. He has guest rooms that smell like mold and a bunch of junk furniture

It was extremely expensive for the type of room you got. Very minimal, basic and not very nice decor in our bedroom, well no decor at all really. Our door was also broken so we slept with it unlocked. I would have wanted to pay 60Eur to stay there not 200. It also had a really strong smell of either bleach or fly spray in our room for the duration of the stay.

The ladies that run the place are so nice, so kind, so helpful and friendly. They gave us such a warm welcome. Breakfast was lovely, cute little place with a lovely view. The bathroom of our room was lovely, very big and clean. The location was also good - not too far from a quieter beach.

The level of cleanliness in the room was low. This is the thing that bothered us the most

Positano is not big so all the hotels are not that far from the center. The only problem is the many stairs on the way both in Positano itself and getting to the hotel and the room itself were difficult. But there is a luggage service in Positano that costs 15 euros per suitcase.
