This was the most expensive place I have ever stayed and it was worth every penny. The location on water is perfect. The hotel design is a art piece. The beds are comfy. The rooms are huge and great deck . The location is central to places to go. The spa is amazing. Room service was incredible. And the service and concierge was amazing. Can't recommend high enough

it may need a more adventurous spirit in the kitchen in order to enhance the culinary experience of the dinner. all decent with the food, yet nothing noticeable (not my first time there). not up to the bill's expectations.

sleeping "above" the lake with the window open it makes up for the name of the hotel - il sereno. the staff was great, from the arrival in the parking lot (the romanian lady & gentleman very kind and welcoming), to the check in process which didn't feel like it, all the way to showing me to my room, the housekeeping ladies, the waiters and the very helping ones behind the whats app concierge. they all made it very cozy and familiar. the cold champagne bottle upon my arrival meant more than the intended fine touch as it kicked in after a troubling start of the day. the interior of the room is still maintained and doesn't feel worn out, at all, in spite of the traffic.

Il Sereno Lago di Como was truly the most dreamy and magical place we’ve ever stayed. From the breathtaking lake views to the elegant modern design, everything felt luxurious yet warm. The staff went above and beyond to make our honeymoon feel extra special, and every detail from the room to the dining was perfect.

Had the tasting menu for dinner. It was very mediocre at best. For 300 USD per person, it’s inexcusable. Eat at Belvedere or Vapore, both a five minute walk. Great food and ambience at 1/4 the price of Il Sereno .

So serene. Beautiful views. Amazing architecture and attention to every detail by staff. The concierge service was top notch. Highly recommend for a relaxing trip to Lake Como. Food is a star at this hotel as well.

As a food lover, the portion of chips I ordered by the poolside were very small for me. For the future there should be a small and large option.

This place is incredible. Everyone is extremely friendly, the service was incredible. I’m definitely coming back with more friends and family. It was worth the price. I ordered breakfast to the room and it was laid out beautifully. I can’t emphasise how amazing the staff were.

Fancy dinner prix fix not really our thing, we ordered off a limited menu. Room service mostly for the evenings, although food arrived not very hot most evenings. Room service food just ok...very expensive for value of food..

Breakfast incredible, loved our coffee delivered every morning to our room. loved the fresh squeezed orange juice. Wait staff was incredible and kind for all services.

The hotel is absolute perfection. they gave me an upgrade with an amazing view. the staff were very sweet and helpful everywher. they made my stay so woderful. its the only hotel in como that lets you rent a boat and drive which was really amazing.
