Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Very simple and basic but exactly what we needed. Extremely simple and easy self-checkin and close proximity to the airport, making it a perfect place to stay if coming in on a late night flight.

It was very clean and our room and bathroom were very spacious and had all of the necessary amenities. The shower itself was very spacious which was comfortable. But besides the property itself the staff was very quick to respond to inquiries, which in our case was especially important as it was a last minute booking.

Nothing very near, there is a lovely cafe down the road with a very helpful owner. Some pizzerias a 10 min walk away. Got a bus to Verona, but only one an hour. Trains limited.
Stayed as an emergency following cancelled flight. Easy WhatsApp comms to get in, even late at night. WhatsApp was quick and the host helped us with everything, even a taxi to the airport. Very clean, good air con, lovely bathrooms

1. **Lack of Personal Touch in Interior Design**: The guest house's minimalistic interior lacked any personalization. There were no photos, paintings, or welcome signs to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. It felt sterile and impersonal. 2. **Inadequate Amenities in the Double Room**: I found the double room lacking in basic amenities. Having only one chair and one spoon made it inconvenient, especially during morning coffee. Comfort should extend beyond the bed. 3. **Air Conditioning Placement Issue**: The air conditioning unit posed a significant problem in Room Nr. 7. Its constant flow was directly aimed at the bed. While it kept the room cool, the direct airflow made it uncomfortable and unhealthy for sleep. Finding a balance between temperature control and comfort is crucial.

The bathroom was roomy, and the shower provided a refreshing start to the day. 6. **Accessible Location with Free Parking**: The guest house's location was easy to find, especially since I had a car and relied on Google Maps. The availability of free public parking was as described, adding to the overall convenience. Overall, my stay was delightful—a blend of practicality, cleanliness, and thoughtful design. 😊

We left the tax in reception I would suggest some kind of honesty box as our tax went missing

Although Il Vitigno is very close to the airport, it is still a taxi ride from the terminal as some of the route is not easily accessible on foot. Buses are not available from the accommodation to the terminal (as far as we could see). Positively, taxis can be easily booked from local companies.
Cosy, clean and modern room. Comfortable environment. Easy to check in and out with the digital pads. Quiet area. Kind and welcoming host who provided prompt information on how to check in. The accommodation exceeded our expectations. Thank you!

Sound from other rooms can be somewhat heard. Not best sound insulation but not really bad.
New and really clean, free public parking in front, easy to find spot. 20min with car to Verona. Calm street, not much traffic.

There were no lifts and as we had the room on the third floor it was quite a task. It gave away strange vibes that somehow made me feel a bit uncomfortable but there was nothing wrong with it. You need a taxi to get to the place and it is faraway from downtown.
We had an emergency so we decided to stay at the hotel as it was close to Verona Airport. The price was reasonable compared to other options we had. The room was up to our expectations with working AC which we were relieved.
