Absolutely superb country hotel in Signa, near Florence. The staff members were friendly and very helpful. Our room was big and extremely comfortable. The breakfast, included in the price of the room, was outstanding, with an endless choice of excellent food. The outdoor pool was an excellent bonus! A perfect place to stay for a week when visiting Tuscany (Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, San Gimignano...). We hope we will be able to stay again at Il Borgo di Villa Castelletti in the future!

- A bit of noise from the street, but not too bad. - Reception closes at 20:00. There is an emergency number to call, but probably better not to lose your key. - 2 hr drive to the airport in spite of the short distance. Ignore what Google maps says. Leave 4 hrs before your departure. We barely made our flight because we believed Google. People at the airport said that this was normal. This is the fault of Florence, not the hotel.

- Outstanding breakfast with huge selection of pastries, tomatoes and mozzarella, carpaccio, vegetables, various eggs, great fruits, juices, cold sparkling water ... - Large comfortable rooms. - Nice bathrooms. - Nice staff. - Good pool (not huge). - Plenty of parking. - Good quiet AC. - Nice staff.

Didn't hire a car and the taxis rip you off if you can get one

The breakfast was amazing, all freshly prepared with love. The swimming pool after a long day sightseeing. The recommendations by the owner on how best to visit florence and where best to get ice cream. The onside restaurant was amazing.

No staff between 8PM & 8AM. I felt very vulnerable in case the taxi did not arrive by the time I needed them.

The room had cooking facilities- but would be good if it had salt + pepper/ oil and a few other wee things! But maybe people don’t cook in them often :)

Such a fabulous spot! The staff were so lovely and helpful the breakky was amazing! Hung by the pool- walked the grounds! The room was great and felt very clean! We also went to the restaurant and it was 10/10!

Everything was grest except for our timing because the swimming pool opened the day after we left

The staff was very friendly, studio spacious and beds confortable. We were traveling with two children and we had enough space. Breakfast was above all expectations. We really loved the experience and hope to come back again.

The sofa bed on the ground floor is not so cozy, even that specific apartment would deserve normal beds if it is dedicated for four persons.

Great environment to stay in general what I highlight is the delicious Toscan breakfast.

A country-family hotel located at a convenient distance from Florence, free parking on site, free Wi-Fi, the beds are very comfortable, the breakfast is excellent. Recommended for those who come with a car to travel in the Florence area and are looking for a nice and quiet place.

It was all great.

The room was very large and included a kitchenette. We booked this hotel to be close to the Firenze airport for a morning flight. Enjoyed walking around the area the evening before. The restaurant next door was excellent. The breakfast was amazing. I would return again for another breakfast.

The accommodation was in an old, well-preserved building. The staff was very friendly and you can see that they enjoy what they are doing. Especially the breakfast was delicious and almost all was prepared there.
