The sonic isolation from the outside in my room (1st floor) was OK but was terrible from the inside. I was hearing people in the stairs, breakfast room, etc ...

A Perfect Stay in the Heart of Naples – Safe, Stylish & Full of Soul 🌆✨ I stayed here for just one night before heading to the airport, and I can confidently say—it exceeded expectations in every way. Located in the vibrant Spanish Quarters, this hotel is a hidden gem. The area is artistic, lively, and full of local color, perfect for solo travelers or anyone in their 20s to 50s who wants to be in the heart of Naples’ real cultural energy. Despite the buzz outside, I felt completely safe and cared for the entire time. The hospitality was truly outstanding. From help with my luggage to thoughtful touches in the room, the staff made everything seamless. While my single room was on the smaller side (as expected for solo travel), it was spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and had every amenity I needed—including a charming little veranda. Breakfast was a dream: served daily from 8 to 10 AM with fresh fruit, homemade croissants and cornettas, eggs, cereals, a wide range of dairy and non-dairy milks, yogurts, and truly incredible coffee. Everything is made with care—and it shows. The hotel has an elevator (a big plus with bags), and it’s incredibly central: close to the ferry if you're coming from Amalfi, walking distance to nearly everything, and an easy trip to the airport. If you want comfort, hospitality, and authentic Napoli charm at a great value, this is your spot. I only wish I had more time here—but I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend! 👏

The room was clean and comfortable and having the outside private roof terrace was wonderful. The room facilities were great and the staff were really friendly and helpful. On my 60th birthday the hotel surprised me and my wife with a bottle of prosecco, flowers, balloons and cake.... nice touch. The hotel is located in the Spanish Quarter so is very handy for central Naples and nearby restaurants and bars. The hotel offers a "breakfast in your room" service which we took advantage of twice. We would recommend Hotel Il Convento and hope to return again in the future.

No complaints

We really liked the location - not far from via Toledo and in the Quartieri Spagnoli. Great soundproofing! We had a Family Room which was perfect with loads of storage, nice amenities and a separate mezzanine sleeping area for our children (age 13 and 11). Would love to stay here again.

Nothing, everything was perfect

All the staff where very friendly and helpful, the location is excellent and gives you a great base to explore the Spanish quarter and Naples, 5 min walk to the Metro. Great selection for breakfast and very tasty, there is also the added bonus of having breakfast delivered to your room if required. The room was very clean and comfortable with everything you could need including a very cute balcony looking down on the bustling street life below, the AC was the best I have ever had in a hotel which made the room very comfortable.

For some reason even though the air conditioning unit was high up the wall, we left it at 21 and it was prefect but waking up the stairs of the mezzanine to my children was hot, they both complained it was sticky and no air- which was true and I found it odd that the AC didn’t reach them during our whole stay

Central busy location, our bedroom however was quiet. We enjoyed the terrace attached to our room, a peaceful oasis. Friendly and helpful staff on the desk. Good choice of food at breakfast, open free access to excellent coffee day or night a plus.

Hotel’s location is very convenient not in a luxury area at all but close to everything and always lively. Great location to feel the Naples. Hotel was as good as it could be in such an area and in an old building. Staff was lovely, special thanks to Nello for making us feel very welcomed and for the tips :)

The only criticism would be that the bedroom floor had some tiles which required re bonding.

The staff were very helpful. Location for bars & restaurants, Good nights sleep with a comfortable bed. Very clean en-suite with an excellent shower. The breakfast was excellent with a nice choice. Coffee was available all day and free of charge.

The cushions on the balcony furniture could be better.

Great breakfast with a large selection of options. The hotel is in the middle of everything with many bars, cafes and restaurants around. Good AC, great shower, comfy bed and the balcony is worth the extra. Lovely staff, always smiling and always helpful.

Only criticism is that there was a bit of noise from the breakfast area in the morning as our room was so close to it on the first floor.

Location was so handy. It is a noisy area but the room is very well sound proofed from outside. The hairdryer was good and there was even straighteners which I loved. Breakfast selection was good. Staff were very nice and helpful.

Bathroom seemed very dated but it was clean. Breakfast was so so.

Considering how much chaos was outside, it was super quiet and clean. Staff was so kind and helpful, very professional and made us feel at home. We only stayed one night. It doesn't seem easy walking distance to a lot of sights and you can probably get confused in the streets. But the whole area was just teaming with energy and felt very authentic.

Same non creative breakfast every day

Location was wonderful. The activity right outside the hotels front door, was wonderful once you got used to it. We were able to walk to any number of fantastic restaurants, walk to Toledo Street, walk to a palace, or catch the metro. There was also a self laundromat abouteight small blocks down the street, where a woman took your clothes, washed and folded them and have them ready for you when you returned …..overall it was a great place to spend your time in Naples.
