The kitchen way below what a hotel like should be able to offer. Breakfast better, but menu for both lunch and dinner need an upgrade. The bread is a warning that this is more hotel than restaurant.

We paid around €1,700 for two nights and were given a ground-floor room with a view of a wall. Absolutely no value for money. Because of that, we won’t be coming back.

Beautiful historic property with an amazing pool and swim area amongst the rocks. We loved it. Amazing buffet breakfast as well!

Opulent and beautiful building. Great staff , they work hard. Gardens are kept wonderful. Music on terrace fantastic with grand piano.

We really enjoyed our stay – the hotel is beautiful, the location is great, and the view is amazing! The only thing that could be improved is the furniture; it’s a bit outdated compared to the price point. A more modern or luxurious touch would make the experience even better.

It’s a little out of town with a steep walk up. No taxis when we arrived at the train station, so be prepared to walk to the hotel up a fairly steep hill, it’s not far but taxing. Taxis were ridiculously priced and sparse , best options were buses and trains. A courtesy bus into town would have been fantastic, as pretty much all the restaurants are in town.

The hotel is so beautiful. It’s like a fairytale. The staff were so friendly and helpful, shout out to Prim who looked after us with fabulous tables with views. Mark the hotel manager couldn’t do enough for us also. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was beautiful and well worth the money for a special occasion. Breakfast every morning was so beautiful and in a magnificent room. We loved every minute of our stay.

Cannot name anything I don’t like.

It’s amazing experience stay in this with culture and history. Professional staff and services! I regret that did not have enough time to try all of the facilities like swimming pool and related. But visited hotel’s beach and pool, it’s a wonderful garden based with the vest view.

Everything was perfect, the staff were exceptional, the hotel itself was truly amazing, the veiw from our room was one of the best we have ever stayed in, and dinner at the restaurant was exquisite. We would definitely return without hesitation.

We were caught at the beginning of a family buy out of the hotel so was hard for those of us not part of the event to use the facilities. Luckily only overlapping one day.

Spectacular views and rooms. Restaurant was great. Staff was excellent.

A beautiful, elegant hotel with stunning decor, lovely views and a superb beach club and pool area. The large gardens are lush and perfectly maintained. Breakfast was varied and fantastic. Our room was huge with a lovely big bathroom. The staff were very welcoming and very helpful. I'd highly recommend this hotel it really is exceptional.
