It was near the old town by foot and parking on site was free of charge. It was clean and the owner very polite. We had access to the back yard to smoke.

The room was small, the hairdryer wasn’t working. The door to the room was thin like a wardrobe door we could hear people talking and taking breakfast in the morning.

Located just outside the Old Town, very convenient if you have a car and you need to park. The host Mariella was lovely. She was really concerned about our happiness and made us feel really comfortable. Breakfast is served every morning. This place has only few rooms, it feels more like a private retreat than a typical hotel.

Spotless, comfortable, spacious and in the perfect location for exploring Matera. Mariella was a fantastic host who listened to my whims and brought some extra choices for breakfast on the second day. The room was extremely clean, comfortable and quiet. It’s so easy to park nearby at no charge. I strongly recommend it to anyone who seeks a place to stay that combines modern facilities in a beautiful traditional house. You’ll be warmly welcomed by Mariella who works so hard to provide a top-class B&B. A very solid 10/10.

Nothing negative to mention.

We hired a rent a car at Bari Airport to visit Matera. Hotel is located near the old town of Matera (about 10 mins walk) which is registered the UNESCO world heritage. Thanks to the hotel location, we could enjoy late evening time and early morning time of Matera which was really beautiful. Hotel owner contacted us in prior to our arrival via WhatsApp and kindly instructed us how to get inside the hotel. Room was spacious, clean, modern, good size of shower cubic with enough hot water and good water pressure (bathroom was also spacious, modern and clean). We stayed in twin bed room, and there was a spare sofa bed so three people can stay easily. Also tea/coffee making facilities were provided with tae bags and biscuits, which was nice!

As Matera is relatively small town against its popularity, therefore, car parking spaces were limited. We were lucky as we could manage to park our car on the street where the hotel is located.

We were able to check in way earlier as we arrived really early. Very nice and polite and amazing location, also if you are coming by car.

The location is exceptional, just at the entry of historic center. Mariella is a lovely person who help as necessary. There is a free parking just in front of the entry. Bedroom is big, well-eqipped and very clean. Breakfast is delicious. We strongly recommend this B&B.

Mariella greeted us and provided us with tour information and recommendations. Her B&B was immaculate and provided us with everything we could possibly need. She even gave us her parking spot on the street after checking us in!

Absolutely perfect accommodation for a visit to Matera: very convenient location just a few metres outside the old centre with parking spaces in the same road; good sized, newly and well-equipped rooms with ensuite bathrooms; impeccably clean; air conditioning; comfortable beds; a great breakfast spread in the morning; several fabulous restaurants just a few steps away. Mariella was a really helpful and kind host - we loved it!

Spotlessly clean and beautifully set up for ease and comfort. Mariela is attentive and looks after so many things for her guests. Perfect location as you can park on the street and easily walk into the sassi area. Highly recommend and wish we could’ve stayed longer.

A great stay overall. Room was big and spotless clean with many amenities. Communication with the host was good. Breakfast had both sweet and savory options. The location is great as it is close to the Sassi but also accessible by car/taxi.

The property was very close to restaurants & it was cool, spacious & comfortable too! Our Host could not have looked after us better. The breakfast was amazing & the choice was brilliant from bread, eggs, ham to yoghurt & sweet taste cakes & muffins.

The host Mariella was generous enough to hold a parking spot right in front of the accommodation. The room was great, it was right at the edge of the old stone city. Easy walk to it.
