My bed was extremely uncomfortable. It was two single beds combined, which is fine, however the two single beds were a different heights which created a gap in the middle of the bed. I will say though when I advised the staff they were accommodating. The staff were great

The view where the breakfast was was exceptional and the location of the property was fantastic.

The hotel is very well located in the centre of town. Our room was comfortable, clean, and with a good price/quality ratio. The view from the terrace on the 4th floor where breakfast is done was amazing. The staff was friendly and very helpful with our arrangements before and during our stay.

The a/c didn’t work very well.

Great spot super central and they had shuttle for $5 for their private beach for free.

The rooms were not small, but I felt that the TV, chest of drawers, chair and Table lamps were too big for the room and made it feel smaller. Also, there were no ceiling lights and only one working plug each side of the bed so we had to choose between having a bedside lamp on or charging our phones. Strange as there were two sockets each side but only one of each worked. Bathroom in need of updating.

The hotel was a lovely old traditional Sicilian Hotel right in the centre of Taormina and close to everything. We enjoyed our balcony with sea view and having breakfast on the terrace in the mornings with the view in the distance of Mount Etna and the sea.

There was no shampoo or body wash. This is not a deal breaker but more of a convenience. The beautiful terrace with a view of Mt Etna was closed, again not a deal breaker.

The location was excellent. The hotel is located in the middle of the "old town" main street which is mostly a pedestrian road. The road is only used by emergency vehicles and by other transport for early morning deliveries to shops and restaurants. Loads of restaurants, trattorias, coffee shops, general shopping around. The staff at the hotel was lovely and very accommodating. Good breakfast.

Parking was confusing. They should have provided clear instructions on where to park with their booking.com description because there was no parking next to the hotel. We wasted an hour finding the garage and then shuttling back to town. There was no bar or liquid soap provided for the sink, bidet or shower. In this situation, I had no problem buying a bar of soap from a nearby pharmacy so I didn’t notify housekeeping. Second, there were extremely long drapes, both solid and shear, and both drapery rods did not operate. Had to close manually. The desk tightly held a small refrigerator whose door was hard to open.

Location! In the heart of picturesque Taormina! I had originally picked a hotel down the coast but changed my mind because it was too far from the central district. Air conditioning! We had to keep the window closed because of late night pedestrians so the AC was extremely helpful. Note: our room did not have a view of the water, probably because asked for a queen size which was street side. Taormina was a perfect location to visit Mt. Etna. Luckily, we booked a private tour to pick us up near the hotel. The service after checkout was unparalleled. They WhatsApp’d me immediately upon finding my husband’s passport in the room. They recommended Mailboxes Taormina to handle its return. We received the passport promptly. Hotel Isabella handled the situation perfectly.

Bathroom (especially the shower) was too small. Failure to provide soap. Be aware that getting to the hotel from the bus station is not easy (700 m) on brick paver sidewalks with there are multiple bags.

The hotel is in the heart of the city, walking distance to most restaurants and stores.

Breakfasts, although modest, were sufficient and tasty, but my biggest complaint is the coffee. I would expect a proper coffee machine with good coffee in a hotel in Italy, not a vending machine serving powdered drinks – it’s undrinkable. Poor room amenities, plastic cups, water only in the minibar, and you can’t even borrow wine glasses…

Location, room, view, price, 400m to the parking (there’s no way to drive up to the hotel, so if you’re carrying heavy luggage, be prepared for a long walk — and the road climbs quite steeply)

I think the only thing was the bedroom was small but again most of the rooms in Italy will be small

We were really looking forward to having breakfast on the beautiful terrace overlooking the sea and city, as shown in the photos, and that was the main reason we booked this exact hotel. Unfortunately, breakfast was served in an underground room with no windows, which was a bit disappointing — this wasn't mentioned in the hotel description or reflected in the pictures. Breakfast was the same every day — while the taste wasn’t bad, the variety was quite limited. There were no eggs, just the same two types of salami and one kind of cheese each day, along with cereal and a few pastries. I would have really appreciated a greater selection, especially some fresh fruits and eggs. The bathroom could also use some improvements. The shower wasn’t great — it took a few minutes for the water to warm up, and even then it didn’t get quite warm enough. The toilet seat was broken and uncomfortable, which made the experience less pleasant overall. We were also a bit disappointed that ironing was offered only as a separate paid service. It would have been much more convenient to have an iron available or brought to us in the room for quick and easy use upon request.

The location and the view from our room (to the sea) were absolutely stunning and we were very happy that we paid more for a sea view! The other rooms overlooking the city would have been very loud, as they are on top of the main street with many tourists, music etc. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. While the furnishings are a bit dated, I actually found that added to the charm — it gave the space a lovely, classic Italian feel. The room was cleaned daily, and overall, the hotel was very well-maintained and clean.
