How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The place was spotless, everything just radiated a great welcoming vibe. It exceeded by far my expectations, usually locations close to airports are a bit "bare bone", but Kristal went above and beyond to help us and make us welcome

Despite the fact that we have arrived at 11pm the owner/staff welcomed us and even arrived to greet. We werevcery plaesed with the room and it's features.

There was no hot water. Probably because we came very late (about 10pm).
Kind, helping staff. Overall clean and nice, it actually looks like the pictures. They offer transport from the airport.

Only had one night there, it would be a terrific base for exploring this corner of Sicily. The transfer from the airport a tad pricey even though it was half of what taxis charge.
Very smart and modern hotel. Good size room with lots of wardrobe and drawer space. Loved the location in Corso Umberto, the main street in Cinisi, especially at night with the orange trees and lights lining the road all the way up to the piazza, the usual selection of Italian bars and a safe, friendly ambience everywhere. The staff were super friendly.

It is the best place for one-night stay, close to the airport, after late night landing. The host are VERY helpful, they helped me how to get to Palermo Centrale by bus next morning without paying a lot of money for taxi, the breakkfast was available early in the morning, and Cinisi is lovely! I hope i will have possibility to spend there a bit longer time, because I had seen, it is cute and nice place.

Nothing I can blame the B&B for, as it is a local thing. Sweet breakfast is something I do not get along with very well. Absolutely not used to that. But next time I know better and also prepare for a diet afterwards.
There are a supermarket, a self-service laundry, a car rental with airport shuttle and several bakeries, bars, restaurants very close to the B&B. Allthough it lies on a main street of the small village of Chinisi it made me not feel as if I landed directly in a touristic hot spot but also gave me a feeling of being at a local place and somehow part of it. The room was very clean and fullfilled everything I want from a B&B. I really liked the communcation with and helpfullness of the owner and the "breakfast lady".

I was here in the end of September. The beach is far away, you would need a taxi to go or to rent a bike, non of these were available for rent. I tried to walk to the beach, it took me 40 min to walk, but it is too warm to do so. It is €5 by taxi (we got a lift by hotel manager's friend)to get to the sea. The beach is a bit messy...i mean a lot of rubbish around...there is a beach bar where you can get burgers, paninni, beer...not expensive at all.
The staff is very warm and friendy, very helpful. Pierra and Cristina are very nice. Very nice hotel (I mean B&B), in the middle of the main street in Cinisi, spacious, nice breakfast, separate kichen with all you may think of... A few restaurants close to the hotel, comfortable rooms inside, I really loved it.

hotel was well presented, tidy and perfectly positioned in the heart of Cinisi. Airport shuttle was punctual and polite, Piera at the hotel was very helpful and welcoming, allowing us an early check in and helping arrange an airport shuttle at late notice. Breakfast was well presented and good quality. Would gladly recommend Kristal to anyone spending time in Cinisi.
