Perfect location to visit and enjoy Matera. The view from the room was perfect to enjoy day and night view of the village. Equipments were perfect for our stay and room was clean. All was fine and we enjoyed our stay.

The apartman itself is great with everything that you need to the point of dishwasher. But what makes the place out of this world is the spectacular view you get, that was the best view i ever experienced in my life. You have no desire to go anywhere just to sit on the terrace, drink some prosecco and admire the man-made wonder that is Matera.

Everything was beyond expectations. We also thank the owners of the house for making everything easier for us. They were very willing to help with anything! The location was super fantastic. If I come back to Matera, this will be the only place I would like to stay :)

The terrace is serves as access to a few apartments so not private, but we were the only ones to use it since it was directly in front of our unit (Venere).

Great spot close to parking (non-ZTL) and awesome view onto the old city from the kitchen doorway. Apartment is small but very comfortable. Breakfast coupons made for a fine start to the day.

The room is clean and comfort. I appreciated the owner and assistant being very responsive to the requests and questions. The million dollar view is remarkable!! Plus the coupon for breakfast was very good! This is the place I would highly recommend if you are considering stay in Matera.

Would have liked to have breakfast on site, but it was a short walk to a cafe that we were provided vouchers for which was good. Beds were not the softest.

This was a great location. The view from the room was amazing. It was nice to have a terrace to relax at the end of the day with sightseeing.

The description and photos of the balcony are misleading as it's a very small shared balcony so if you were a family of 4 it would be almost impossible to sit out and enjoy the view.

One more luggage rack would be helpful in the Venere room. Free parking is very scarce and a bit of a walk.

Easy check in (although finding the unit was tricky at first), comfortable, well equipped kitchen, quiet, great view. I stayed in the Venere room and my daughter was next door in the Marte room. Full reviews with video on The Four Chains Travel YouTube channel.

There is very little free parking in Matera and the little that there is is a bit of a hike.

Very responsive host. Check in was easy, although it was a little tricky to find the unit location at first. We stayed in the “Venere” room. It was small but very clean and well equipped. There are two bistro tables outside of the unit and the view is fantastic. Our daughter stayed Nextdoor (also at L’infinito) in the Marte room. I had a fantastic stay at this accommodation in Matera! The location is excellent—right in the center of all the sights, making it easy to explore this beautiful city. It’s within walking distance from the train station and just a few steps from the main road, which was a huge plus as it avoided the hassle of dragging luggage through the large stony streets. There are plenty of shops, cafés, and restaurants nearby, adding to the convenience. The apartment itself was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. There was ample storage with plenty of shelves, and the enclosed kitchen was well-equipped with a coffee machine and mini fridge. One of the absolute highlights was the stunning view from the balcony, offering a breathtaking sight of the Main Cathedral —truly a special touch! The self-check-in process was seamless, and communication with the host via WhatsApp was easy and efficient. Overall, this accommodation was a perfect choice for a stay in Matera. Highly recommended!
