How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Few minutes walk to central street with restaurants, bars, etc. Not far from the beaches, it takes approximately 15 min by bus.

First it was complicated to get in, to much QR codes .....later with the plastic card was already easy.
The room was comfortable, nice, tasteful. It was a little bit noisy when other neighbours were closing or opening their doors.

A nice B&B in the heart of Cagliari. It is located in old town, giving a good opportunity for a nice walk between beautiful streets and attractive bars and restaurants. We felt warmly welcomed and the host is always available to give good suggestions about the city, what to visit, what to do and where to eat. The breakfast is really tasty, with fresh and local product. Finally, the place was very clean and modern. I can suggest this place.

It was clean and spacious and the host Salvatore was veeeeeeeey nice. Our rented car got towed from the street because of the holiday and he kindly helped us get it back. Grateful for such people.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this amazing place, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! It was spotless, well-appointed, and located in a fantastic area, close to all the key attractions. Salvatore was an exceptional host—warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, providing great local tips and always being available to help. The breakfast was at a local cafe with vouchers provided. It was nice and convenient. Our host Salvatore was very responsive and even drove us to the station on our last day.

We booked this place as a last-minute upgrade to our original booking for a night in Cagliari before flying out early in the morning. There's no parking on site, but we found a free spot on Via Luigi Merello a couple of blocks away - no problem! The location is really great. We went to visit the botanical gardens on the same block, peeked at the amphitheater from there, and we also walked to the castello quarters. Later, we went out to dinner. Everything was comfortably accessible by foot, even on a hot August day. After we checked in, the person who met us left. The place was pretty empty and casual (just us and some other guests - no staff during the day/night), so we had the kitchen area to ourselves when we wanted to use it. It was well-stocked and was very clean and organized, with proper utensils, mugs and all the rest. They had milk in the fridge, which our toddler really appreciated. I was not expecting the kitchen to be open like that, so this exceeded my expectations. We didn't use the crib for sleeping, but our daughter liked that it had a zippered door, so she was very happy to play in it.

The staff were very friendly. The place was very clean and comfortable. Everything was perfect. The location was very nice and close to commuting everywhere. The pictures are accurate. The bathroom/shower was clean and comfortable to use. Air conditioning and external shades made it very comfortable to stay and rest. There was a shared nice and clean kitchen with dishes and cutlery to use. There was also a fridge, tea, coffee, and fruit to consume anytime from the kitchen, which was nice.

For those who expect a large breakfast, you should book a hotel.
Spacious accommodation, with good airconditioning and a comfortable bed and toilet. Breakfast is in a cafe down the street, which I found a nice change of pace.

That the breakfast was in a bar. It was good but prefer it in the bnb.
The bnb is spotless and comfortable. The host was very nice and helpful. The location excellent

We got two fines for unvalidated tickets on the local bus. We decided not to take up the offer of a lift to the beach and took the bus. My son put the tickets in the machine but failed to check they were put in the correct way, so we were given a 53 euro each fine. Initially, I did not have my identification on me and the B&B owner sent my passport details to me so that the bus inspector did not have to take us to the police station, which he told us he needed to do, to check our identity.
The owner of the B&B was exceptional. He met us at the property as I had problems receiving the information to access the building due to poor wifi in my location. He ensured we had a drink and snack on arrival and even offered a lift to the beach in his car.

As such nothing everything was perfect
We liked the welcome and the helpfulness of the host Salvatore. The room was spacious and very clean. The kitchen was nice and we could have a cuppa or an espresso.
