Hotel is gorgeous, staff are so helpful and lovely! Facilities are fantastic. Breakfast one of the best I have had. Pool is great and the spa the best I have been to! A lively relaxing break. Our second visit and would go again! Thank you

A bit of a distance to travel but easy with a car

We took a one-night, two-day trip from Zurich to Lake Como—more precisely, to stay at this hotel. When we got into a taxi at Como station, the driver kept asking why we were going to such a remote place and sounded rather doubtful. But the moment we arrived, his expression completely changed. Our whole family also felt the same—relief and awe! It was truly a beautiful place. The swimming pool and spa were absolutely outstanding. Dinner in the evening was as delicious as the atmosphere was wonderful, and everyone there was so nice. Since we were the only guests with a child, I worried that we might disturb others, but instead the staff looked after us with such thoughtful care. What made it even more special was the hotel lounge, which had board games, toys, and table football for children to play with. My son especially loved it. When it was time to return to Como station, the hotel even arranged a taxi for us and prepared a small gift bag for our child, which kept him happily entertained on the train ride back to Zurich. Thank you and Grazie mille!

Nothing, but next time, we will try to stay at the Il Corazziere hotel right next to La casa del mulino (they share the facilitates)

Good place if you have the time to enjoy all the facilities. Friendly staff and the little attention when leaving was very nice. Nice breakfast. Rooms have been partially refurbished and are nice with a little theme.

Dinner is good quality overall but overpriced (a parmigiana di melanzana at EUR 22.- which wasn’t a parmigiana but an eggplant cut in half and friend with some tomato sauce). Have your own transport, it’s almost impossible to get a taxi or an Uber.

Look & feel. Best people & premium finish of the rooms.

Our room had no outside space. Didn’t really matter tho.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing! I've stayed at so many hotels over the years, and I have to say this one exceeded my expectations for the breakfast. The staff was extremely nice and the facilities were very good. I really enjoyed the time at the spa and the pool.

It was not specified that the spa had "limited access" for only 2 hours per booking. The staff was very nice overall though, and I got a lot of outdoor pool time which was not limited with access. It's not the best location if you don't have a car, but it's a great getaway overall.

The hotel has great open outdoor space and great staff and a very nice breakfast. The beds are great too and it was very clean.

Interiors are a bit cheap looking and seemed like directly imported from catalogue from China. I missed the Italian quality craftwork and design.

Everything is really well thought out, we were travelling with our dog and the pet fee is very reasonable, and we were met with a little surprise (some toys and a water bowel) in the room. The staff is extremely nice and willing to help and the grounds and facilities are awesome!

The only thing I can think of was the self serve coffee machine wasn’t that great - but you can just ask the bar staff to make you one with the proper machine so it’s a none issue.

We made this our regular destination every year for a few days with our small dog. The hotel is very pet friendly, the staff is kind and attentive .The rooms are nice and spacious, the space around the hotel and the grounds are well kept, offer plenty of shade and sun, and the pool is just great. They make an excellent Aperol spritz, perfect to enjoy by the pool. Top marks on everything. There is an excellent restaurant as part of the hotel to have dinner at, otherwise we found several great restaurants within 10 minutes drive from the property.

Very nice and beautiful location, spacious and very comfortable rooms and other/common space. Great breakfast, bar, restaurant and spa. Beautiful nature: river, mountains, etc.

There were only 3 bicycles to lend, and only 1 was in a good shape (possible to use). Very limited activities for kids, no playground.

Staff was very nice and welcoming. Super efficient and professional. They made a big difference in our stay. The Spa was great, we really enjoyed it. Restaurant is also top notch with very good value.

I would have appreciated a few more options for breakfast.
