We really were simply very pleased - . Will mention, the wifi was a bit tricky to use especially, when 4 of us tried to use it simultaneously .. . The cat kept trying to sneak into the house ! Suggestion : There's a coffee machine in the kitchen , but we also wanted a regular electric water kettle .( We bought for ourselves a travel one in a local store.) The villa could use one too.

The villa was very authentic and also well equipped, clean, and pastoral. Great Mountain view ! The kitchen served us well. The beds were cozy and comfortable. The owners were friendly and helpful. It started getting chilly, and they showed us how to use the heating system, which was cosy. The indoor staircase can be a challenge for big bags but the upstairs is also accessible by going around on foot to an upstairs door. We found the villa charming! Google translate helped with English/Italian communication. It's Off Season now and gets dark early , - so driving home evenings from day trips on the winding, unlit Tuscanny roads , even with Waze and GPS was challenging, - but it would be that way ,wherever we stayed. There are also some interesting places to see nearby and thanks to chestnut season we roasted fresh chestnuts to have with an evening glass of wine. An authentic Tuscanny stay!
