What an amazing place, we had a brilliant stay, it was perfect for our family of 5. Plenty of space and everything you could need. With amazing views. The hosts were brilliant and helped us with our luggage when we got there and when we left, everything was really clean. Had a lovely restaurant in walking distance and a pizza takeaway which was fantastic. It is a steep hill up to the property but fine for anyone able bodied. The kids loved to run up which I couldn't manage, but they enjoyed it, The pool was lovely and so was the outside shower. Overall absolutely fantastic and so pleased we chose here to stay.

La Cornice dei Monti is a fantastic place to stay. Away from the hustle and bustle of the cities below, you can relax here with ease. The property is well presented and has all you need to allow you to either go no where, maybe buy some food and drink before you arrive, or explore the local area. About 20-30 mins to the Amalfi coast to the south and to Pompei in the north. A nice pool and hot tub were available and clean. Sunbeds and umbrellas set up outside the room with a view of the mountains. The mountain roads are well maintained, just take your time. Gabriela and Vittorio were so welcoming and helped bring up the cases from the car and gave us a full tour of the room and outside space. We had no need to call upon them during the stay but they were always available. Would definitely recommend and revisit.

The only down side that some may find is that it’s a trek up a very steep driveway some 90 meters, so infirm or elderly may struggle. Other than that it’s a great location.

Set within the hills it had the most perfect views. Watching the Sun rise in the mornings whilst sat on the veranda, drinking an espresso “Perfect” the apartment was comfortable, with great facilities. The small pool was a welcome relief from the heat too. All in all both myself and my partner loved our week stay. The kitchen was also perfect for all types of cooking.

There isn't too much to do in the area - worth bearing in mind depending on what you're after for your trip. One small suggestion is for curtains/ shade over the top of windows in the main area and the bathroom to keep the light out in the mornings. Only minor thought though, and it didn't affect our trip or enjoyment. :)

The accommodation was lovely and the host Gabriela was so welcoming and helpful. The studio space was modern, clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. The bed was comfy so we had some great night sleeps! The location up in the mountains had wonderful views and I had some peaceful cups of tea outside (each apartment has it's own outdoor area which is great!)

The jacuzzi took a very long time to heat up, you have to start it way in advance. Also, we couldn’t get up to the apartment with our car as some people mentioned earlier. But these were only minor inconviniences! Our hosts kindly helped us with parking and with our luggage as well, so overall we had nothing to complain about.

Gabriela and Vittorio are extremely nice people! They helped us with everything. We even got some breakfast and some milk, beer and water in the fridge. The place is very clean and relaxing. The communication was smooth as well. The apartment looks even better in person than in the pictures and the surrounding mountains are beautiful!

The location is good but only one restaurant nearby would be my only advice to those looking for someone near restaurants.

Our stay at this apartment was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the owner, who personally checked us in and provided a detailed tour of the apartment. This personal touch immediately set the tone for what would be a memorable experience. The apartment itself was immaculate, with every corner gleaming with cleanliness. It was evident that the owner takes great pride in maintaining the space to the highest standards. What stood out most was the thoughtful attention to detail throughout. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, making meal preparation a breeze. In the bathroom, all essentials were provided, and the addition of high-quality diffusers in the bedroom added a luxurious touch to the ambiance. The quality of the linen and towels was excellent, contributing to a comfortable and restful stay. Each night, we had a brilliant night’s sleep. The facilities were also outstanding. The pool and hot tub area were a delightful bonus, providing a perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. We spent several evenings unwinding in the hot tub, taking in the serene surroundings. One thing to note is that the photos of this apartment do not do it justice. The reality far exceeded our expectations, with the space being even more beautiful and welcoming in person. If you are planning a trip to explore the Amalfi Coast, I would definitely recommend staying here. It offers a perfect blend of comfort, luxury, and convenience, making it an ideal base for your adventures.

The 1bed was smaller than the studio (not an issue just be aware if you have the choice!)

Gabriela and Vittorio's casa vacanze is beautiful. The place was spotlessly clean and had everything we could need. The driveway is a little steep but we were used to it by the end of the week. We had a larger car so parked about 2 minutes up the road at the local restaurant. Vittorio helped us with our luggage up and back down at the end of the holiday. Location wise, the accommodation is well placed- the local bus stops on the main road outside the accommodation down to Maiori and otherwise, it's a 10 minute drive to Maiori (we parked just by the supermarket for €3ph) and you can get ferries from there to most places (we would NOT) recommend the coast road, it is full of hairpin bends and slow going!) Its only 20 minutes up and over the hill from the motorway for access to Naples/Vesuvius etc. Gabriela was always on hand to ask questions to and the croissants on our first morning were very much appreciated. When we come back to Amalfi  we will definitely stay here again!

The road to the house is very steep and it is not possible to drive to the top, only with a very small car. But they helped us with our luggage, so it was not a problem.

Gabriela and her friend were very helpful and had soms good recommendations. The room was nice (better than on the pictures!) and the view was stunning. Some nice restaurants in the area. Definetly recommend this place!

Oh what a fantastic stay with exceptional hosts. We were treated like kings by Gabriela and Vittorio. Space is way way better than it looks in the pictures - spacious, very very clean, with huge terrace and splendid views. Very well stocked, and attention paid to every detail. The kids loved the pool. And the hosts were fantastic, they seemed to actually care about your stay. It was really nice to stay in this calm place and chill in the evening from Amalfi noise

This is definitely 10 out of 10. The owners we super kind and helpful, helped us with heavy bags with a smile on their face! The place was as clean as it can get, the views were magnificent. The house is located away from the main road so it was peaceful and quiet. We were a bit unlucky to get some rain but this is a property where you actually want to spend rainy days in as the views get even better when you watch them from a warm pool!
