Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomFridge in room did not work so could not have cold water. The hallway leading up to the B&B was dimly lit and quite scary. Pushed what we thought was a light switch in the hallway but a man came out of his apartment so appeared to be a doorbell. Lift was very small and claustrophobic. On one occasion called the lift and it never came. Used stairs as worried about getting stuck in the lift. The lift didn't say the floor the B&B was on. If you were first at breakfa st juices were cold. Any later and they were warm. There was no kettle for the staff to use to boil water for tea. She put individual cups of water in the microwave but the water wasn't boiled. Kettle would have been better ensuring water boiled and staff could do more than one cup at a time. If you were first at breakfast you were ok but after that cheese and meats did not appear to get topped up. One day we were last to breakfast, all tables had dirty plates and cups on them from others breakfasting before us. When I indicated to staff to clear the table she took away the plates but left the cups and still didn't clear the other tables. This is not acceptable. Noone wants to sit amongst others dirty plates and cups.
Bathroom and bedroom were clean. Rooms cleaned and beds made daily. Spacious accommodation. Our plane was late and reception lady held on until 1am so we could check in.

CyprusBuilding was very old, elevator was manual, and barely fit 2 people. Had to carry around 4 different keys, one for the building, one for the staircase gate, one for the whole B&B, and one for the room. The gates for the building and the staircase were very finicky, and difficult to open.
Right next to a metro station, staff was very accommodating, and there was a cleaning service every day.

United StatesNoisy at times. I could hear some through the walls. I did not have a locking safe in my room.
Maria was exceptional. She went above and beyond to meet my needs. Maps and luggage storage provided before and after checkout. Lots of towels. I did feel safe. There were 3 keys to access the hotel and my room.

GreeceUnfortunately, on the first night there was no hot water, even though I had left the tap running for 10 minutes. Thankfully, the second day, reception took care of the problem and we had hot water, but still the pressure of the water was not that strong, so it was hard to have a proper shower.
I really liked the fact that the accommodation was very clean, the breakfast was amazing, the bed was comfortable and reception was very friendly and accommodating!

United KingdomThe lady at reception was not very friendly. She seemed a bit rude. Also there were 4 keys for different doors of the building which was annoying and we hardly managed to open the front door in the evening. We were lucky another resident of the same building showed up at the same time..
The room was big and comfortable

United StatesIt was difficult to find at first because there is a bookstore in front. There needs to be a sign indicating the the B&B is located on the 3rd floor.

PortugalThe location was great. The room was very clean and well organised, with a balcony facing the street. As we were on the 3rd floor, the view was just amazing. The AC was a must as the weather in Sept in Napoli is extremely humid and hot. Orsola our receptionist was simply amazing and very involved for us to have a great stay. She helped us with breakfast (which was also a great value for money) and allowed us to leave our luggage in for a few hours before our check-in. They even left us some delicious pastries on the table in our room, which us a great stay. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place. The value for money is just right and there's also a bus and metro station right in front of the building taking you right to the airport. Strongly recommend!

ItalyThe building is dilapidated, old and dirty. It's scary to climb up the stairs to reach the third floor where the B&B is located. The sorrounding area is also dodgy and dark. The only good thing is the metro station nearby. I would recommend not to pick this solution if you are travelling alone. It's no value for money (and I gave them 80 Euros!).

United KingdomCheck in time said 1pm but we got there at 2pm and the room was still not ready. Only body wash and hand soap was included, no other toiletries like shampoo or conditioner even though it said free toileries included. The breakfast was basic and not very breakfast-like/rather unhealthy, without much variety, toast with jam or chocolate spread, cornflakes with milk and yoghurt (no fruit included?) and a range of pastries, donut and cheesecakes which seemed unhealthy for a breakfast. Coffee was provided but it was a rather strange set up, the receptionist would come in everyday to set up the breakfast and ask if you want coffee then make it for you out of the nescafe machine. Friendly service but a bit overbearing. The packed breakfast they gave us on the day we had to leave before breakfast service started, was stored in a mini fridge that they had to wheel in specially, as the mini fridge in our room originally was broken down i.e. things here just seemed so run down. In general, the building seemed dated, run down, slow and inefficient. There isn't always staff present at reception, at night it is absolutely empty so one would wonder what happens if there's an emergency or medical problem to a guest in the building? The single beds are tiny, could barely turn around without falling off the bed. There are also several locked doors to get through, with several different keys (heavy to keep in bag too!) which were all very hard to open. The lift to the 3rd floor was very old school. The building is on an extremely noisy street so it was hard to sleep. Rather depressing vibes all around, dimly lit and not really that professional.
Location was great, within a few minutes walk from the metro and train stations. The room and bathroom was very spacious. There were charging outlets and bedside table and lights by each bed and a wardrobe with coat hangers. Luggage storage was free. Towels were included and changed everyday, and your bed was made everyday too. There was a hairdryer in the bathroom. We had to leave early for an excursion one day and asked for a packed breakfast and they kindly gave us a big loaf of bread, a packet of cheese, ham, pastries, cheese, juice, yoghurt and spreads.

United KingdomIt is very noisy and even though Orsola went out of her way (thank you!!) to change our room we were still unable to sleep as we heard all the noises from the corridor and the building, especially the very loud elevator. Obviously not Orsola's fault, just the way the building is. The location felt safe as the entrance is gated and there is another gate for the stairs however we noticed that when we entered the building and shut the door behind us, someone would come and bang on the door to be let in (guessing the homeless searching for a warm corridor to sleep in) - obviously we didn't open the door but this happened a few times and was very strange and uneasy feeling, like someone was watching or following us. Lastly, little things were missing like shampoo and conditioner, and we asked for an iron which wasn't available. This b&b would be so great if these little touches were added!
Orsola was extremely nice and super helpful with the questions we had. She definitely made our stay very pleasant :) The b&b is nice and clean, good location in terms of reaching touristic places.
