We had a great experience. The host Simone was very friendly and accomodating. He made us breakfast every morning. Our room was comfortable and exceptionally clean. An great place to stay as it is walking distance to the cruise terminal and a short distance to restaurants , food market & train station. We will definitely return.

Can hear noise from corridor and other rooms but it wasn’t too much of an issue.

Good location with very clean rooms. Basic breakfast but enough to start the day. Simone is very friendly and helpful, providing information on transport, restaurants etc. We had arranged to leave our luggage in early before check-in time but it turned out our room was ready on arrival. We were also able to leave the luggage for a while on the day of departure. It’s easy to walk down to shuttle buses to cruise ships from the property.

Everything was great

The place was great and spotless. Simone was great in keeping me informed and answering my questions promptly. His staff was very kind and helpful in showing us how to navigate the town. The walk to the shuttle was easy and not too far. Also, they were kind enough to let us wait until we got our shuttle to our cruise in the breakfast area.

LSC is up the hill from the train station and cruise port. Knowing this now and considering the weather at the time we would have been better off taking a cab rather than hiking from the train station. OTOH, the walk down to the cruise port was downhill, but considering weather again, as well as the availability of sidewalks we should again have used a cab.

Simone was very helpful and kept us well-informed via WhatsApp.

Honestly, from the moment I booked I knew I was in great hands. Any question I had was answered with great detail! As a female travelling alone around 1am I was a little worried but I was told where to go and what to look out for when getting a taxi to La Lanterna Sul Como. I'm also gluten and dairy free and breakfast was a HIT! options for me so I didn't feel left out.

Breakfast was very accommodating and very much enjoyed the hospitality! The method of checking in was very easy. As much as I enjoy having face-to-face contact with the housing staff, checking in was very quick, instructions were clear on how to access the property, room was ready, no complaints.

Didn't have a fridge. Don't think there was an elevator which is ok for us, but if you need one this might be a problem.

Clean, well maintained, good location (close to cruise terminal bus stop, food/restaurants/etc.) I thought the bed was fine, wife didn't agree. Friendly staff in the morning (self check in when we got there but everything was organized and in order) The room had a balcony with view of the Sea which was nice and +1.

Simone was awesome - he carried our very heavy luggage up the steps. He tended to our every need. The room was for three and was comfortable with a very nice bathroom. Definitely a great place to get around in the city and enjoy the sights.

It was close walk to the cruise shuttle buses as well to the business district.

The back area of the kitchen needs to be cleaner. There should be a proper downstairs bathroom for the guests, most of whom only stay one night before joining their vacation.

The owner and his assistant were very pleasant and helpful. He allowed us to leave our luggage after check out time. He helped get us a cheaper rate on a taxi to the cruise terminal.

It is not too near the cruise port, the walk is short, less than 10 minutes, with luggage it took some effort. However, we knew that before we booked it, it is not like it was a hidden information. Walking to the beach front, to the restaurants, to the train station, are all very close. It is a great location.

Simone and his staff were very courteous and provide a lot of good information about local attractions, restaurants. Room was comfy, I felt safe and well respected by the staff.
