She had a bad behavior. Very mean ! I stayed with no light in the bathrooom for 2 days ! She also refused to change the towels, and we stayed there for 6 days ! The washing machine it s old and bad. Actually with 2 days before she said that i should leave if things aren t on my like. And i paid for this things…you will see in the photos, my conversation with her…instead to help us, she acted like this ! If i wrote to her that i am need for something, she said that i am a stalker, instead to help someone. Jesus… De asemenea am gasit mult par in baie, si pernele murdare ! Are mucegai in toata casa !!! Even though the apartment is spatious, it tends to be dark when inside as the only 2 small windows are in the entrance. It would be helpful to have a small guide about the place logistics and surroundings. Communications could be more hospitable.

House had a weird smell, probably in the walls. Also Check out is at 9 am which was inconvenient. There is no place to leave the luggage in Atrani so we had change our plans and take an earlier ferry back.

A small annoyance the wifi was a bit patchy and the kettle didn't work. Using the stove top to boil water took ages.

A charming apartment. More space than needed for 2 people as it has 1 full bathroom and a second toilet and 2 separate living spaces, a main bedroom plus a small bed upstairs on a landing. It is close to the beach in Artrani and is a 15 minute walk to Amalfi. It is in a quiet area. My sister and I were very happy there.

The only point for improvement is that during our 4-night stay, there was no cleaning service provided and no change of sheets or towels. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this accommodation.

We had a wonderful stay in Atrani. The check-in process was smooth and easy: the owner sent us very clear instructions with photos, so we had no issues finding the place even though it was a self check-in. The house is spacious, beautifully decorated, very clean, and well equipped — it really met all our needs. We had read reviews mentioning that the bathroom doesn’t have a curtain or glass panel, but honestly it’s not necessary; if you shower carefully, nothing gets wet. One time the electricity went off because we used the air conditioning and the kitchen appliances at the same time, but it was easy to fix — we just went outside to reset the breaker and everything worked fine afterward. A great bonus: the washing machine works perfectly, which was really convenient. Although the bedroom doesn’t have windows, the air conditioning keeps it well ventilated and comfortable, so we never felt closed in.

Very dirty in some areas, cleaners are sub standard. The shower floor had lose particles and lower wall tiles/grout were very dirty. Bathroom is overdue for renovation. Water in basin was slow to drain and allowed dirty water back into sink. The sound from the people above was almost like they were in the room with us. No coffee maker. No bread knife. No dish drying cloth. The whole unit with the exception of the bedroom requires upgrading.

Staff were remote to property but were very helpful. It was a short walk to Amalfi.

Beware that the hosts are abominable - rude, aggressive, and unhelpful. They didn't even provide a proper address for check in (we did a self check in because we arrived about 10:30pm), just some confusing series of pictures sent via text message. And this is in a town that is literally the inspiration for M.C. Escher's maze drawings. The host then tried to demand we vacate the apartment at 9am on check out. This is obviously not a reasonable check out time. 10-11am is standard, before that is an early check out and at the discretion of the guest. The host started harassing us at 9am, even trying to use his keys to barge into the apartment before I could get to the door and tell him he needed to wait until we could leave (we did by 9:40). In the meantime he kept knocking on the door and harassing us. The host was belligerent and his behavior was totally unacceptable.

The property itself is mostly good. The location is excellent, and it's overall comfortable. There are a few problems, however. For one, the loud part of the a/c unit appears to have been placed in the bedroom closet, thus right next to the bed, such that it makes a lot of noise at night. Also, the hot water boiler is apparently controlled by a light switch in the bathroom, but this is not labeled, such that it's easy to turn it off without realizing and then you don't have hot water.
