Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomRosanna was an exceptionally warm and thoughtful host — her kindness and attention to detail made us feel truly at home. The property is breathtaking, surrounded by magical gardens that feel like something out of a fairytale, with birdsong, flowers in bloom, and peaceful corners to unwind. It was the perfect place to slow down and enjoy nature at its best. The breakfasts, with homemade pastries and fresh eggs, were a real treat, and the service throughout was gracious and generous. If you're looking for a beautiful, tranquil escape with heartfelt hospitality, I couldn't recommend this more.

United KingdomThere was nothing we didn't like!
The staff at La Traversina were like a family to us. They were ever so kind and accommodating, which made our already great stay - perfect! It was like staying at Grandmas house. The property itself was beautiful, especially the gardens and our room. It is clear that a lot of time and thought is put into making it charming, and everywhere you look is picturesque. Preserving the local nature is clearly important. We saw many animals, wild and domesticated. Finally, the food. Breakfast and dinner were both amazing and plentiful. Eating with the other guests was really nice, and I only wish that we had done it more. We hope to return to La Traversina someday soon.

We loved everything. The place is charming, immersed in vegetation, Very calm. But above all it's Rosanna's hospitality!! She and of course her son and anyone else that works there. My husband has celiac,he eat only gluten free, and they made sure that at every meal he got the best there is, it's not taken for granted! The concept of eating together around one table is amazing, it makes you chat and meet new people, we made new friends. We highly recommend this place, and we already miss it and the special evenings we had there.

Personnel, service, food, the building, garden, swimming pool, etc, everything. Especially Rosanna and her lovely family who gave us a warm welcome and care during our short stay. They are so sweet. Even though we arrived late after dinner time they still prepared a great meal for us. All the food from the house is original, freshly homemade and delicious. We really enjoyed the time and felt at home. I recommend this hidden gem and look forward to coming back soon.

It is a short drive from the A7 but in a remote and tranquil hillside. It's a bit dated but charming with everything that we needed. The gardens have a tendency to be overgrown in places but that added to the charm. If you arrive early, you'll be able to enjoy the pool and relax in the sun loungers. I am not sure if dinner is served every night so worth checking. We had dinner served at 19.30, all vegetarian and delicious. One table is set so we had an enjoyable evening with another two couples who were staying. The salad was freshly culled from the garden that afternoon. Everything was made on the premises. The breakfast was also pretty special. Finally, our hosts were attentive and made our short stay very enjoyable. I'd far rather stay in an Agriturisimo like this than a sterile modern hotel so a definite recommendation from us.

AzerbaijanWe stayed at La Traversina for just one night, and it was one of the most memorable parts of our trip to Italy. The house is a beautifully preserved traditional Italian countryside home — clean, peaceful, and full of authentic charm. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, and made us feel completely at home. What truly stood out was the breakfast – everything was organic, fresh, and absolutely delicious. From the homemade jams to the fresh eggs and local cheeses, it was a perfect start to the day. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience real Italian hospitality in a serene and authentic setting. We would love to come back one day!

GermanyRosanna and her family were incredibly hospitable, making you feel you were their first ever guests. Breakfast and dinner were superb, and eating with the other guests on a long dining room table added a fun perspective, as we all chatted amongst each other. The property is surrounded by a wild, green and colorful paradise, overgrown by a charming medley of vines, hydrangeas and all manner of flowering bushes. Ideal surroundings for a writer’s retreat or workshop! Or, simply, to relax, walk or cycle. Oh- and don’t forget to ask for yoga classes with Rosanna’s well informed son-in-law, a great and authentic way to start off the day!

ItalyBasically nothing. Ok, if I have to think hard to put something here, it's the house wine which was not great in my opinion. But it's really being picky, and by the way perfection is boring.
Everything was great and went great. We booked last minute due to a flight cancellation disrupting our holidays and took a chance which was wildly successful. We had a fantastic time, enjoying the magic place, the warmth of the host and staff, and the company of other guests joining for dinner at the common table.

NetherlandsPlease note that there is no air conditioning in the studio / appartement. Probably most of the time not a problem, but the year we were there it was exceptionally hot.
The best part of our stay was the hospitality and kindness. The hosts were always there to help you with any matter. It's a real good place to get rest at the pool to read some books under the trees in the shadow. You will like it. The host Rosanne was so kind to send the e-reader I forget with the post. She even packed it with care and love. So great!
