Breakfast is included and cooked on-site with produce from their garden. The selection and quality are excellent. To avoid waste, we send our breakfast order the day before. Dinner You can dine at the estate from Wednesday to Saturday upon reservation. It's a four-course fixed menu (35 euros per person) with an extensive wine list (extra). There are wines produced on site by Giovanni's aunt that are very good. We had dinner twice and the quality was above expectation. Sense of heritage conservation, architecture and arts. The rooms are clean, large, and well thought. The minibar is restocked with drinks every day, which was appreciated after a day of sightseeing. They have a friendly dog named Bruno who does a great job accompanying us to our table. Thanks to Giovanni and Valeria for receiving us, shared a part of your country, the food, and your way of life. They take pride in your work.

Nothing really to mention here, maybe to better indicate the place when you arrive by car as not easy.

First of all someone is there to welcome you when you arrive, then everything is free from additional charges: in the fridge, in the bathroom, towels. Food is also excellent and they ask you the breakfast upfront to make sure they will not be any leftover which i find very environment friendly. Swimming pool was extremely appreciable !

Great communication, a friendly welcome and great help with places to visit and things to do. The breakfasts were superb and evening meal was fantastic. It was an oasis of calm and serenity after the crowds and bustle of Pompei and Amalfi coast.

There was absolutely nothing that we did not like. It was amazing!!!!

I made sure to tell the owners of the property that their photos DO NOT do justice to their beautiful property! Tucked into the countryside, off the beaten path, is found a perfect spot to sit back, be taken care of, eat amazing breakfasts and dinners and just enjoy life. Both Giovanni & Valeria taken personal pride in their oasis. The rooms are spacious, the grounds well cared for, and the food most definitely made with pride and love! While the dinners are an added cost, they are not to be missed, and surprisingly well costed! Because we were so impressed with our first breakfast, we blindly reserved dinner on our 2nd & 3rd nights (we were too late to reserve for the first night, otherwise we would have had the first one too!). Dinner did not disappoint! While the menu is planned by Valeria and not posted, the surprises presented to us both nights were spectacular! Both meals opened our palates to new taste sensations. All we were served disappeared quickly, even though we were continuously full even before sitting for our meals! We will definitely return to this wonderful property any time we find ourselves even remotely close by. Be sure to stay for a couple of nights...or more. It will be well worth your time. And your stomach will thank you for it! Well located to so many sites, be sure to book here!

The whole place is amazing - beautiful location, the views from the hill, the room was spacious and we loved the style. The hospitality of Valeria and Giovanni as well, they were very helpful with tips and advice and their food is out of this world. We can't wait to go back one day!

Everything! The rooms are so lovely with many little details which let you understand how much the owners cherish their space. It’s beautifully decorated and well kept. The terrain is so spacious and invites you to stay much longer than you had planned. The food! The owners follow a no waste concept and source everything locally or regionally. The quality of the food is as impressive as the surroundings where you will enjoy your breakfast or dinner.

We really enjoyed the serene and welcoming atmosphere, along with the charming, well-maintained surroundings. The friendliness and attentiveness of Valeria, Giovanni and Anna, and the rest of the staff left a lasting impression on us. Highlights of our stay included excellent meals, especially the homemade jams at our daily breakfast. The lovely garden with a pool, the inviting terraces, and the changing, fresh dinner menus added to the appeal. The hospitality and cozy ambiance made us really feel at home!!! The property is set in beautiful countryside, the hosts are extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. The room was very clean with a fridge stocked up of various drinks etc which was all included in the price. We had an evening meal there which was outstanding as was the breakfast! We had a great time at this beautiful place. We loved the lush green garden, the pool and the view. Also the room was furnished really well and tasteful. We had a three course dinner and it was absolutely amazing - wines were great too. Very friendly owners - we will definitely recommend this place and come back.

A piece of heaven on earth. The family, that runs La Vecchia Quercia takes care of every detail - beginning from food alergies, preferences, to mosquito spray in the room. The rooms are home-like design, very comfortable and have everything we could wish for. The food is just marvelous. I would have booked for 1 week instead of 1 night if I have knew it earlier!

Such a nice find at the end of our holidays. Totally relaxing, comfortable, clean and friendly. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The breakfast delightful. The owners put a lot of hart in their establishment. The location is close enough to interesting locations like Pompeii, Vesuvius and Amalfi or the most common outings, yet with the benefit of returning to peace and tranquility after a busy day. Supermarkets just a few minutes ride and plenty of good restaurants within 15 minutes distance. La vecchia Quercia really exceeded our expectations and we are already checking on when we can return.

We stayed here 3 nights, everything here was just that perfect. We feel so warm from all kind of details from the house , the decoration, the style of the house and room, gardens are full of herbs smell around, very nice pool to spend all day in summer. Breakfast is all homemade with love, customize according to our request (and even better). We also enjoy 1 dinner at La Vecchia Quercia, all fresh food from the garden and atmosphere was so well and we enjoyed so much then everywhere in Italy.

The property is just amazing. The rooms are large, with a comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and balcony. The hosts have thought of everything, including all amenities for mosques protection. The swimming pool is clean and the garden surrounding it - lush and very well kept. Overall, the place evokes the feeling of calm and romance. Yet the best feature of the house are the hosts - welcoming and warm. We had interesting conversations with Anna and Valeria that helped us understand the place, its history and people. We also received excellent recommendations for dinner places. Thank you for this unforgettable experience! We really hope to come back to La Vecchia Quercia.

What an absolute find! On reflection, I would rearrange our holiday to accommodate a greater length of time in this very special place. We will return within the year. The consideration in regards to linen, fresh, seasonal breakfast food and guests needs surpassed our expectations. Congratulations to Valerie and Anna on their efforts.
