Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

HungaryWe would have preferred a split mattress on the bed but this is a personal preference.
This is a beautiful place! Breathtaking views from the terrace. Comfortable parking. Very kind and helpful host who helped us arrange trips and even prepared sandwiches when we had to leave early. There are good restaurants in the neighbourhood, our favourite one is La Panoramica, try the shrimps with quacamole and the grilled seafood there.

SloveniaThe internet connection was a bit weak, but it wasn’t an issue at all, as everything else was perfect. I would just like to point out that Google Maps doesn't show the exact location. It takes you about 200 meters past the actual property. Be careful and look to the right before the final destination shown on Google Maps — the accommodation is there. Right next to the main road, on the left side, there is a sign with the name of the property and a large gate leading to the courtyard.
The accommodation is truly wonderful. The host, Ana, is very kind and attentive. She also gave us great advice regarding day trips and local events, which we visited and thoroughly enjoyed. The apartment is tastefully furnished, and Mrs. Ana ensures everything is impeccably clean. There is a beautiful terrace where you can enjoy stunning sunsets and breathtaking views of Naples and Mount Vesuvius in the evenings. Thank you, Mrs. Ana, for a wonderful holiday in your accommodation.

United KingdomWe had an amazing stay and Anna is so welcoming, personal and friendly which made us feel like we were right at home. The whole place was spotlessly clean, the location is quiet and the bed and pillows are very comfortable all adding to a perfect few days.. with its position outside of the city and up in the hills your have exceptional views of Pompeii, mount Vesuvius and the sea beyond. As stated by many the breakfast is varied and delicious, the private balcony in the room is an added bonus to the roof terrace where we enjoyed watching the sunset with a glass of wine. If you are looking for authentic Italian hospitality and a comfy getaway in Pompeii, look no further.

ItalyEverything was great, perhaps worth noting the GPS location on booking was a bit off (not the property's fault, I informed booking). Definitely need a car to reach the property.
Great bed and breakfast, owners very friendly and supportive towards all our needs. Various and large breakfast, regularly changing and with local products. Large and comfy rooms with very good pillows, wide balconies and gorgeous view over the entire gulf.

United StatesFrom our perspective, the property and the setting are SPECIAL and SPECTACULAR!!! But you do have to drive up the hill to get there. But that is an unavoidable price you have to pay for that kind of panoramic view.!
We chose this property because it was close to Pompeii/Herculaneum and it seemed to have nice views. We were not disappointed. It was easy to get to the archeological sites, but the view from the room was spectacular. The Bay of Naples, the mountains to the south as well as a beautiful view of Mt Vesuvius. The property and rooms were spacious and well appointed. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very nice… far more than we needed. The hosts, Anna and Baldo are rightfully proud of their property. The place is such that it could probably be turned into a to a small boutique hotel with six or more rooms, but Anna says she wants no more than three rooms. That allows her to have personal contact with all her guests. That suits her and I expect it suits her guests. She and Baldo were very personable, eager to assist in any way, and generally just nice people! If you are looking to visit Pompeii, Vesuvius, or any of the other archeological sites, I highly recommend this property. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Anna is a wonderful hostess. Her home is beautiful and the views from the balcony are outstanding. Her breakfasts were amazing. The property location was perfect as you were 1 hour by car to Naples and 1 hour by car to Sorrento to take the ferries to the different islands. would highly recommend people to stay there if you're looking for a calm, beautiful location.

We had a lovely stay at this Bed & Breakfast! Anna and her family (husband & son) were so kind and helpful! Our room was comfortable and clean, with a very nice private bath and a large balcony with an amazing view of Mt. Vesuvius, Naples and the sea! Anna made a big, beautiful breakfast just for us with scrambled eggs, cheeses, fruit, croissants, toasted sandwiches, juice, cappuccino, etc. The location (close to the Pompeii historical site), accommodations, and hosts were wonderful!

GermanyOur stay at this hotel was truly exceptional, and much of that is thanks to Anna, the wonderful landlord. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel incredibly welcome with her warm and caring demeanor. Anna's hospitality went above and beyond by offering us glasses of wine to enjoy on the balcony, where we were treated to a breathtaking view of the city, sea, and the majestic Mount Vesuvius. It was an unforgettable experience! The location of the hotel is perfect for those seeking tranquility. It's in a calm, uncrowded area, yet still just a 15-minute drive from Castellammare and the beach. The cleanness of the entire property was impeccable, with spotless rooms and common areas. Breakfast each morning was a delight, featuring fresh produce straight from the garden—perfect for starting the day off right. Anna even went out of her way to pack us sandwiches and drinks for a picnic, which was incredibly thoughtful and made our day trip even more enjoyable. To top it all off, there’s free parking available, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. I highly recommend this hotel, not only for its amenities and stunning views but also for the extraordinary kindness and hospitality shown by Anna. I can't wait to return!

United StatesWonderful kind family who went to such lengths to ensure we were happy. Spotlessly clean rooms!! Marble floors! Stupendous views of Mt. Vesuvius, Pompeii and the Bay of Naples from our room. A hotel could charge $500 a night for those views - truly amazing. In the morning the mother put out a buffet fit for a king - fresh pineapple, melon, yigurts, pannetone, ham, cheese, etc. WOW!

NetherlandsThere are no cafes or restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the B&B. There are only Italian TV channels on the TV and no English or German channels.
The breakfast had an extensive range. Three different types of bread and toppings, several types of pastries, yogurt and fruit. Everything very fresh. The requested gluten-free options were also numerous and well taken care of. The location was located on the hill overlooking the Bay of Naples. The view from the balcony was very beautiful. The accommodation is located about a 10-minute drive from the center of Castellamare di Stabia. There is good private parking facility. The hostess is very attentive and helpful with information (for example about good dining options in the area). After a hectic day in Naples, the B&B is a real place of rest.

GermanyAnna was so lovely and such a great hostess! She has thought of everything and the breakfast is a 10/10 every day. She offers figs and tomatoes from the garden and typical pastries or desserts from the area every day, as well as homemade foccacia. The room is spotlessly clean every day and you feel completely at ease. She gave us a lot of great tips that made our holiday much better. You can also reach towns like Postitano, Amalfi and co within a short time. We were very sad to leave and will definitely be back! We enjoyed it very much there!
