A short walk away from the canal area. That area is class. 10 minute walk in most directions from a station. Clean, nice wee hotel for a good price.

The couple in the room next to me decided to have a full on row at 1.30am so the rooms are not entirely sound proof. Banged on their door and told then to shut up which seemed to work.

La Vignetta Hotel is on a relatively quiet street 10 mins from Boconni University which is where we wanted to be. I found the Milan transport system to be cheap and effective although the direct tram to the centre was closed due to track replacement (August - September 2025). The hotel does not offer much in terms of facilities and the front desk is not always manned and is definitely closed after 21.00pm. Staff were helfpul when available. Room was confortable, clean with a good shower and very good AC. Price and value were good compared to other options I considered. No food or meal options available at this hotel.

Clean hotel. Room is small but cozy. AC worked. Bed is great for 1 person. No breakfast. Easy with transportation. 20 min walk to Duomo. Nice local cafes around.

Great location if you want to stay near the Navigli area, and not too far a walk from the centre either. We only stayed one night and arrived past last check-in time, the staff were very accommodating about it

The windows were a bit tricky and there’s no sound proofing. You can clearly hear what’s going on in the next room.

don't be put off by one star rating , for a 2 night stay it's ideal , close to everywhere , loads bars restaurants close by and cathedral etc 15 mins walk . room is basic but clean and air con great . milan is very expensive so this hotel good value

Excellent Stay – Clean, Great Location, and Friendly Staff I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and the location was perfect, close to everything I needed. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay. The only thing I missed was a small fridge in the room, especially considering the very high temperatures during my visit – it would have been great to keep some drinks cool. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again!

Was easy to get to from the airport on the metro m4 line .. staff were friendly and welcoming..we walked the whole of the city in a day so very central..the canal bars and restaurants were a great bonus...would book again defo...

The hallways were a bit smelly.

They let me check-in earlier because the room was already cleaned, so that was great! It is close to the city center, great value for money!

The bathroom, particularly the toilet, was not cleaned upon our arrival. The noise from outside the tram is quite loud.

As a solo traveller, my room was quite small was it had everything I needed.
