Your kind words about our warm and welcoming staff, as well as the comfort of your room, truly brighten our day. We’re especially delighted that you appreciated the charm of the historic late 19th-century building where the hotel is located on the 3rd floor and the unique family atmosphere that has been passed down from mother to daughter across three generations. With reference to your feedback about the shower size, we apologize if this caused discomfort: Hotel Labelle is the result of a careful renovation of a historic unit, and in order to provide each room with its own private bathroom, we had to thoughtfully redesign the original layout. Our priority was to maximize comfort in the main living and sleeping areas, which meant some bathrooms, including the shower spaces, are more compact but always standard size. We always strive to balance the charm of the historic architecture with modern comfort, and your feedback helps us continue to improve our guests’ experience. You're right, our location right next to the Colosseum is tough to beat! And yes, the bathrooms in smaller rooms like your Single Room are a bit compact due to the historic nature of the building, but we're happy it worked well for you. Hotel Labelle was born from the renovation of a prestigious 19th-century apartment and to ensure that each room could have its own en-suite bathroom, the spaces were designed to maximize comfort within the room. As for the room size, we understand that preferences can vary. Our building is part of a historic 19th-century structure, and we’ve worked to optimize the space to ensure comfort while preserving the original charm. That said, the economy double room you stayed in, is a more compact version of a standard double room, with a french style bed, we also offer different room categories, some more spacious, which might be a better fit for future visits.
