How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nice courtyard, great communal kitchen with free coffee. Very responsive. Really went the extra mile when I said I was travelling with my brother to arrange 2 single beds at very short notice. Excellent communication. Breakfast was around the corner in a lovely Café where we were served by a friendly lady. Would stay again if in Pisa. Great value for money.

The fan in the shower room was rattling and quite noisy.
It was a very nice room with a lovely garden. We didn’t stay very long though. Lisa was very helpful and informative. It was south of the Arno and had a lovely neighbourhood. We had drinks in a square just round the corner and it was mostly locals which was great.

Bathroom quite small and shower small not much room in it but fulfilled our needs adequately
Lovely big bedroom with v food AC , the kitchen where you could make tea or coffee or make food was excellent and very well equipped , and outside patio area was fabulous and a nice space to come back to when tired after walking all day

Location was perfect for arrival but train but also close enough to be able to explore the historic sights of Pisa. Room was lovely and air conditioning especially appreciated as it was very warm when we were there.

Clean and comfortable b&b with the owner and staff that are responsive and communicate well. You will be in short walking distance from everything worth seeing in Pisa and also shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

The square next door is quite noisy at night but earplugs provided and it wasn't loud enough to stop us sleeping after a long day.
Great rooms and loved sitting in the sunny courtyard after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast at the cafe down the street was fabulous, tried a different pastry everyday.

Great location, next to a vibrant square full of locals and away from the touristy part of the city. Very beautiful building, inner courtyard, and comfortable room! Would definitely go back for a short stay in Pisa!

We had some issues with the door lock but Lisa and her team helped us straight away and the gate lock made us feel secure anyway
It was a gorgeous apartment, very comfortable and modern facilities in an authentic structure. Lisa was absolutely brilliant at hosting us and helping with everything! The courtyard was the perfect escape after a day exploring.

One small thing - only one plug for a kettle and coffee express. We had to change it frequently.
I felt warmly welcomed and awaited guest. Not just a tourist but a guest. Clean rooms in an Italian-style house, a fully equipped kitchen, and stable Wi-Fi.
