We loved that the location was very peaceful, especially considering its proximity to Santiago de Oro, which is a tourist center that can get really crowded. We truly appreciated the tranquility, the mountain views, and the fact that we could see both cows and donkeys. We absolutely loved it — it’s very rural and really preserves the essence of Sardinia. Many thanks to the host, who was incredible, made us feel at home, and explained aspects of Sardinian culture and traditions, as well as giving us travel tips. We’re very happy with our stay at La Mefata and highly recommend it!!!

Nothing. The only remark I would say is that ideally you need a car as the centre is 10 minutes drive away. Plenty of things to do there in San Teodoro with some really nice restraunts. Just use trip advisor (or reccomendations from Giancarlo).

Giancarlo is a great host. Helpful, fun and passionate - full of good reccomendations. The property is really nice and situated in the hills which is peaceful and provides a scenic backdrop to look out onto from your room when on the balcony or in the hot tub. rooms are cleaned/restocked daily. Well equipped too, with wifi, tv, mini bar, air co, Everything you need. There is a really nice vibe and feeling to the place. We made friends with other guests, Pablo the house dog and even the donkey in the field next door (who likes the small sponge cakes). You can relax here and use it as a perfect base to explore the island. We had a really good stay and nothing to complain about. Would reccomend and also revisit.

What a beautiful property in a stunning location. We had a great few days staying here. When we got in we were greeted warmly with cold drinks and shown to our room. It had a lovely view of the mountains and a beautiful spa bath on the balcony. Super clean and spacious, we had an amazing time here. Giancarlo and his wife were very, friendly, welcoming and accommodating!

The rooms could've been cleaned, from previous experience items on the bed or floor (shoes) would be moved in order to clean and make the bed. Extra bed in the room did make less space for luggage and walking around. Bathroom window could do with a mosquito net so window can be confidently opened, or extractor fan.

The location was good as it wasn't far from the town. The room and bathroom was clean and they provide slippers which is handy and plenty of towels. Lovely breakfast range. Jacuzzi on the balcony was a nice touch.

The Perfect Place to stay We checked all the places to stay in San Teodoro and came across the excellent reviews and great pictures of this accommodation. We spent several nights there and loved it. Great location, since you are in San Teodoro in a few minutes. Beautiful and modern rooms. We had the room with the large terrace and it was just fantastic. Lying in the jacuzzi and having such an impressive view is unique. Giancarlo is a super host who is very friendly and helpful. He recommended various beaches and restaurants to us, among other things. His breakfast was excellent and the coffee was delicious. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back!

I loved everything about this property. The location is about a 10-15 minute drive to the center of San Teodoro but is set in a beautiful countryside with views of pastures with sheep and horses. The owner was very kind and friendly. Our room was beautiful and the spa tub on the balcony was so relaxing. We only stayed one night, but I wish we could have stayed here our whole time on Sardina. I recommend a stop here to anyone visiting the area.

Only downside is its a bit out in the countryside (can also be a positive, nice landscape view and quiet), but within a few minutes by car can reach nice restaurants and beaches
