Good value for a stay in a residential location close to the center.

Some confusion with arriving - the address given is not actually that of the B&B and the narrow one-way street made stopping difficult. It is not really a B&B but a room rental. The host graciously offered us a coffee as we checked out but there was no arranged breakfast offered (or other meals as “extras” listed in the booking)

The room was spacious, private and comfortable. Wifi was available and included. The room was air conditioned. There was a small refrigerator and water boiler in the room and a shared sitting area outside the room. The location was perfect for reaching the center, yet quiet enough at night. The host gave us a map and marked some key locations and directed us to local restaurants.

This B & B is in a central location. However, our room felt small and dingy, e.g. the noisy fridge was in the wardrobe, as was the kettle. It felt cold and uninviting. Even though we had paid for two days, we decided to leave after one.

Centrally located clean place for a short stay and visit of town, parking needs advice

Due to the narrow streets, there is no parking in front of the house. All streets are one-way. You have to unload your car and park elsewhere. You really need to know where to go in order to find parking. There is plenty of parking on Viale Regina Elena and on Via Gessai. With a GPS or clear directions or a guide you'll find your way. Walking from the parking to the B&B is only 3 minutes, but driving from the B&B to the parking is a longer way to drive than the other way round. There is no continuos service at the place. The host will come around your announced arrival time and leave until next morning.

The B&B is located in the beautiful old town of Caltagirone, squeezed between all the other old buildings. In our room was just a small window leading to a very narrow atrium. Not much daylight, but we stayed only for a night, so it was OK and had the positive effect that it was very quiet. The room of our friends had 3 beds and a larger window leading to the narrow street in front of the building. More daylight, but also more traffic. Everything was comfortable and very clean. A good location for the exploration of the town, close to restaurants, shops, churches and the famous stairs.
