Reviews of Hotel Le Dune 3 stars

The property is situated very close to the beach however, there is a main road directly behind the building so if you open the windows and shutters it’s very noisy. The front door to the apartment isn’t sound proof so it’s very noisy with people coming and going. Drain in shower doesn’t work so you need to have a quick shower otherwise the shower will flood. The room was comfortable enough but very basic. Breakfast was nice with enough choice including boiled eggs. The staff were very friendly and we had bikes which they stored for us.

The property has a good breakfast included in our cost and also offered private car parking. The hotel was a 5 min walk to the beach which was great.

The bed and pillows weren’t the most comfortable.

This is an OK little 'no-frills' hotel that is in a good location for Sampieri beach and fairly handy for visiting Scicli, Modica and Ragusa. However, although we paid for a balcony, our room was small, on the ground floor with a tiny 'terrace' partitioned from the car park with a reed screen and hence a little noisy. Breakfast was nice with a varied selection. On the whole, a passable but disappointing stay which could have been better if allocated a better room.
