Wonderful guesthouse with an excellent location. All the main sights are within walking distance. Both the train and bus stations are easy to reach on foot. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby. If you prefer to cook, the guesthouse has everything you need – from appliances to dishes. I also appreciated the thoughtful little touches like earplugs and a sleep mask. My room faced an inner courtyard, so I didn’t actually need them, but it was still nice to feel that the hosts cared about a truly comfortable stay.

Right across from the Pitti Palace and just down from the Ponte Vecchio but totally quiet at night. Everything just a short walk away. Very central. Very nice space with a great shower and a well equipped shared kitchen. Highly recommended. Oh and the elevator!!!! Heaven.

The rooms were really clean and well equipped with everything you would need. Great location. Communal space was really good especially the filtered water and snacks. Really flexible with allowing luggage to be left after check out. Easy communication to plan check in and greeted on arrival.

Unfortunately, our room (Pitti) faced the street, and opening the windows at night wasn't an option due to the considerable noise. However, the air conditioning only heats, not cools.

We loved the property.

We loved the room we were staying in which was large and comfortable. The bathroom was great and thoughtfully designed. The location was perfect. The staff were very nice. We enjoyed the Residenza Benizzi so much that we recommend to friends visiting Florence.

Since it has no 24/7 hour concession, it is one of those accomodations where I have to communicate back and forth with the host. Time is inflexible when it comes to checking in. The only con is really the arrival- I had to walk a lot and take the bus with my luggage from the train station to this property. After checking in, though, everything was smooth sailing. There were times when I cannot catch a taxi before 8 am (not sure why), making me walk or take a bus all the way to the station each day.

The property is in a walkable neighborhood of Florence, full of people, food, stores, and gorgeous sites. The property is also close to the bridges and some bus stations (and a taxi lane), making transportation convenient when they can be. Very clean and I've had good nights of silence and peace.

Very friendly and helpful hostess . The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. Even though they don’t provide breakfast the common area is very well equipped with a full kitchen. They have several complimentary snacks available 24/7.

We had the Pitti room - this had a lovely view of the palace, but we didn’t get any sleep on the Saturday night due to lots of street noise.

Location was perfect. The room was better than the photos - spacious, clean and cozy. Communication was really clear to get inside the apartment too.

Great location in historic centre, a beautiful stylish comfortable room and excellent shared facilities in the kitchen/communal area. The variety of free snacks and teas/coffee on offer were also much appreciated.

The only downside was that the elevator wasn't working, so going up 86 steps each time I came back was a bit tiring after a long walk. The room is small. It wasn't a issue as I was on my own, but for two people it might be a little crowded.

Location is great, between Ponte Vecchio and Putti Palace! Andrea, who received me, was very friendly and welcoming. Also, Noemi was helpful via WhatsApp when I needed info on how to get to the airport :) The common area (kitchen) was very good too!

The elevator was very small and you have to climb 10 stairs to reach that. It wasnt a problem for us, just FYI.

The owner Greta was a great helpful lady, provided us with many recommendations through an app. Location was exceptional, was close to everything(near Ponte Vecchio) from a bus station to all the historical parts and great food places. Wifi was working without any problems. The shower was huge, it was one of the largest we have seen in Italy and the water pressure and temperature had no problems. There exist an elevator after a few steps to the residence.
