Lot of noise from the room next door but I that's not owner's fault.

Super friendly host that offered us a ride to the city and left water, coffee, and snacks for us (keep in mind that this is not included in the reservation and he did it out of pure courtesy). Spacious room, great location - about 10-15 mins walk to Matera Sassi.

Room was smaller than it looks on photos, but we spent most of the time outside. Also, it wasn't mentioned it's on the ground floor. Entrance is not straight into the room, but to a corridor with a fridge and coffee maker. However, because of that, room actually doesn't have a window, but non-transparent glass which sheds some light inside.

Apart from cleanliness, the best thing about this is the owner Cesare who met us on the arrival, explained everything, and then got us in his car and gave us a complete tour of Matera. He pointed all important locations, said where we can go, what to see, where to eat. Also, his wife sent us a message with restaurants recommendations. All together, they were the highlight of the stay. Location is fine, some ten minutes from Piazza Vittorio Veneto, which is usual starting point for everything in Matera. Another great experience is parking. Cesare had his car parked in front of the building, and moved it when we arrived. We could stayed there whole time. It probably helped that it was a weekend, but nevertheless, it's very precious help. Cesare also explained everything about the traffic, which is very complicated for outsiders in Matera. Fortunately, we didn't need to move our car.

A clean, compact and well-designed unit only a 10 minute walk from Matera's main square. The owner met us at the location, showed us where to park on the side of the building, explained the facility to us and then drove us to a lunch spot on a busy Sunday. She was very nice and added to our enjoyable time in the Sassi city.

The owner only spoke Italian but he use Google translate to explain everything about Matera. He even took us in his car for a guided tour of Sassi Matera. He provided us with snacks and drinks at the pantry. The owner is very welcoming and he really took care of us. Even reserved a car park for us right in front of our hotel. 5 stars for his service.

Nothing - just wish we had booked for longer than one night!

The room was very spacious, clean and modern. The additional extras such as coffee, water and milk and breakfast items was a great bonus and very much welcomed. The owner offered to take us around town for a tour, we took the offer and highly recommend anyone to go if offered as it’s a great intro to the town. The bed was so comfortable too. Would highly recommend this room to anyone.

Excellent small "hotel" (only two rooms). Walking distance to the old town, very friendly owner (although he only spoke Italian, we could communicate well, also thanks to translations apps, he also knows what tourist usually want and ask). The room was clean and had everything that I needed.

Very pleasant stay. The room was spotless, very comfortable. Location was the best, short walk from the old town. We had no problem parking outside the property. There were snacks,drinks and tea, coffee. The host was really wonderful and very responsive, gave us a list of restaurants. We took advantage of it and ended up having a great experience. I would definitely recommend.

Clean, modern ground floor room. A few minutes walk to historic centre. Host provided an impromptu tour of the old city and was very accommodating.

Everything was fine.

The room was exceptionally clean and the host was very welcoming and generous. He offered to take us on a tour of Matera right away. They made a great effort to help us regarding our allergies to fabric softeners and scents. The fridge, coffee maker and kettle are shared between two rooms, but the hosts provide plenty of provisions for an Italian style breakfast.

The hosts are very welcoming and nice. They waited for us to assist with parking, they drove us around town to show us the landscapes, recommended the best gelateria in town. Absolutely fantastic! The room was very, very clean (my girlfriend approves), the bed was very comfortable, we had a good night sleep in complete darkness. Coffee, milk, water, juice, and some sweets for breakfast. About 10 minute walk to the historical center, supermarket nearby, all you can wish for!

The host was very nice and polite. He made a coffee on our arrival and was keeping a parking place for us. Right after he showed us the city and the center with his car and he gave us suggestions for everything what to do and what to eat. We also liked the location, 5 min walking to the center He showed us a very good bakery right on the corner, they had very good things. And also what we liked a lot is that he had a translation app on the phone and that helped a lot for everything, it was different from other places in Italy where everyone is talking Italian no English no nothing.
