Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Beautiful property surround by olive trees and minutes from the sea. Hosts were gracious and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious.

AC was turned off during the day which made the room uncomfortable

The property is listed as “beachfront”, but is not. Actually Is a bit far away from the beach and you can’t go by walking, because there is a highway in the middle. You gonna need a car to drive around. The air-con does’t cool enough.
Gianluca and his family are very helpful and friendly. The place is beautiful and well kept. Excellent breakfast.

We loved it but the aircon sometimes was not cooling enough in the extreme heat, especially at night
The place was spotless the pool facilities were well kept and the family were simply lovely. couldn’t be more helpful or give more tips and advice about restaurants, parking etc

Top location and super friendly landlords. Pool is excellent. Location is, by car, very close to the wonderful beaches of the natural park of "costiera delle dune". Also a wonderful starting point for sightseeing of Ostuni, Locorotondo, Cisternino and more. We would come back surely.

It was a drive into the town which was fine but it would have been good to have had taxi numbers if you want wine with a meal. We went to the local restaurant instead but were the only guests. Food was fine but not very lively.
The host was fantastic. Such a lovely family. We were welcomed warmly and the place was a delight.

the only thing that can be improved its the time of opening for the pool. 11 am -19 pm means you never have time to use it.
The family that runs it is suoer nice, the place it's beautiful, the architecture of the estate, the size of the room, the private parking, the nice breakfast and the perfect location makes it really ideal for a pleasant stay!

This wasn’t really a dislike but I am not sure it is a place to stay for more than a night or two given it’s slightly remote location.
This was a very well presented property close to road links and near the local beaches. The proprietor, his family and staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The pool area is magnificent with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast which was plentiful and served enthusiastically to offer a good start to the day.

No complaints about the property itself, but this is a region where you should rent a car if you don't know someone. Cabs are rare, and while the hosts are willing to arrange transportation for you it is advisable that you provide your own.
Breakfast was delicious. The hosts were friendly, attentive, and kind. I loved this quaint family business. The rooms were spacious. The property was immaculate. I would gladly stay here again. Bari is beautiful!

It is located on the highway, cars can be heard even at night, it is at least a kilometer along the highway to the beach (which is unsafe), the keys to the room, to the gate are alone (this is very inconvenient even with double occupancy), moreover, the gate cannot be opened from the inside without a key, very soft uncomfortable mattresses, an extra bed is extremely uncomfortable cot, the rooms are small with an inconvenient layout (you can't approach the wardrobe). The breakfast is mediocre, coffee from capsules

The air conditioning either wasn’t working or the owners controlled the temperature which we didn’t appreciate! We shouldn’t sweat after coming out of the shower!

You are being controlled and regulated 100% of the time. As long as you do everything the way THEY want it, they are friendly. But don’t you dare putting down your suitcase in a spot convenient for you. They will move it back to where they want it. They tossed my camera bag which I had carefully placed on a chair in the wardrobe - so that my equipment fell out. You have lots of extra rules not mentioned on booking. For example: wear a bathing cap in the pool, pool only open after 11am, no kids under 18 (!!!) allowed by themselves… to just name a few. when I questioned the pool rules and asked why these are not included on Booking.com they said they are not obligated to put it in there. Hmmm. But wouldn’t it be the best thing to do? They (father and son) then yelled at me in Italian and even though I calmly said I didn’t understand they just continued. So I removed myself from the situation. Feeling very uncomfortable. I called Booking and we agreed that we would leave the next morning - after two days and I was told by the agent (and got it confirmed) that we would only pay the two nights. However, upon check out they just deducted 200€ extra from my credit card and started arguing in Italian again. They clearly are new to this business and I feel they would prefer you don’t use any of their new things. For that reason, too, everything in covered in Plastic (Wardrobe, chair in your room…). They are friendly as long as you follow their rules. But have no manner and/or experience dealing with disagreements or the slightest criticism. This is unprofessional behavior all around. Oh, and did I mention breakfast gets served on plastic plates, too? In the booking description they checked “Poolbar” and “Waterfront”. None of which are accurate. To get to the closest beach it’s a 2km drive on a road which you can’t walk on. Overall a very frustrating experience which I have never experienced in 20 years of traveling. Sad.
